Great piece of kit to have
Does what it says on the run and you can buy extras as well, however on 1st use you need to connect to your computer or phone either upgrade it's software or register the device for it to work ( when trying to register the device I wasn't able to as it was a total nightmare to do so I gave up and just downloaded the software update

Expensive annual subscription and few other issues
I bought this for my E class, As I wanted something more advanced than what I currently use.First thing come to my notice that i have to activate the device using a laptop. The activation website is in Chinese language and there is no English version of it, so I had to use webpage translation browser plugin. If you're selling your product worldwide then the first obvious thing to figure is the language of the product and UI.After activation (and choosing the free 1-year make of my choice) I started browsing all the settings and sections of the UI, and in the Mall section (this is similar to an App store) I found the annual cost of the license/update to be £89 and with discount about £40 (the discount is not guaranteed to be there when you need to renew your annual sub for the updates.) The cost of the annual update wasn't clear before the purchase of the device, I thought it would be something like £20 to £30 max. If you own 2 cars of 2 different make, say 1 is BMW the other is Toyota then you have to pay twice for the annual update! When scanning the whole it takes long time to the level that you get bored (and no this is not just the first/initial scan, it's every whole system scan), I have used many other advanced scanners and none take that long to scan the whole system. However scanning a particular module is not an issue which takes roughly ~5 seconds. And here i'm talking about the Basic Scan mode, as the Advanced Mode never worked for me, even after updating to the last firmware, still fails half way during the scan. The touchscreen is very responsive to the touch, no issue with it at all. The wi-fi module connects to the router easily with good coverage and stable connection. note that you need to be connected to the wi-fi during using the device. The device has a potential, if they rethink these issues. But for now, i have returned the item for refund.
