I forgot just how amazing every page of this book can be.
Ive read this all before in trades but wanted the whole collected first 3 volumes. Every page has some appeal between brushstrokes and words, it just a story that offers something at different levels to anyone who wants to delve into it.

Great story and wonderful art
Great story and wonderful art. If you are a negative person by nature then this book might start you on the path of questioning why your so negative.

Picked this up because of the art...
And stayed for the truly hear-breaking story. This is a depressing story from the start and continues to be so as we follow one family's glimmer of hope pass from generation to generation. Wonderful.

Must buy
Gorgeous book. Way bigger than I thought. The art is amazing. Can’t wait for more of his work. Loved this series.

This isn't a book, its a tome.
I have Saga and East of West in hardcover, and I was expecting Low to be the same size. (those hardcover's are already pretty large.) Low towers over them, being about an inch to an inch and a half taller than my other Image Comics hardcovers. I'm not going to comment at all on the story, I don't think a product review is really the place for that. If you're familiar with Rick Remender's work, you should know what you're getting into. The artwork by Greg Tocchini is worth the price on it's own, the color pallets used are an absolute treat to the eye. I got this for $26 and for that price its a no brainer. As always, Image has produced a high quality hardcover book worthy of it's content.

"As Low as you are...there is only room to rise"
Low is a great story. It is a salve to soothe away the disease of cynicism and despair. When I read it I find myself hopeful, something we need in these "interesting" times. Brilliantly plotted this may be Remender's best work I've read so far. And this book is a veritable tome indeed, necessary even to display Tocchini's art to better appreciate it. It is the thickest graphic novel I now own and the second tallest out of my collection. The paper quality is also excellent. I posted some pictures with 2 other hardbacks and one softback so that others can get a good sense for the size of the book. If you are limited in the number of hardbacks you can purchase and you have to choose I would say that LOW should be at the top of your list. Its just that good.

Replaced my three paperbacks for it
Physical quality is great. Story is more great stuff from Rick Remender. The art is wonderful and even better on this large hardcover.

World Building at it's Best
Low is Remender at his world building best. I enjoyed Remender & Tocchini's last collaboration "The Last Days of American Crime" and Low is a solid follow up. My only negative critique is for Tocchini's art. As beautiful as it is, sometimes the lack of backgrounds or the lack of dynamic coloring can make some panels confusing. However, this is a mild gripe as the overall story excels.

Huge Low
This book is bigger than most other collected books, in both length and page size. This edition really does justice to the art. It's one of those rare purchases where you think 'Whoa, I really got my money's worth here'.

Underwater and Underrated
This is a gigantic hardcover, and probably the heaviest object on my bookshelf. It’s mass would sink very far and low if dropped in the middle of the ocean.Anyhow, this is quite a collectors edition spanning three years of work. I feel the story has been underrated and underexposed because it’s difficult to summarize and slot into a category. There is an interesting plot set in fascinating and gorgeously rendered environments by artist Greg Tocchini - a relatively low profile powerhouse based in Brazil. There are vast underwater landscapes that can feel huge and simultaneously suffocating. You sense this contrast between confided and claustrophobic to vast and open worlds, almost agoraphobia inducing. The colours by Dave Mckaig have a water paint feel with pastel hues. From the dark underwater and the bright fiery beyond. Also appreciate the dimly yellowed word bubbles, it is all round pleasing and easy on the eyes. The story, if you haven’t read it feels personal for Remender. There are themes of mental health constantly swirling throughout the narrative. Ironically Stel, our heroine, is the most optimistic character Rick Remender claims to have written. Everything she values is taken from her, the underwater population will soon be depleted of oxygen and cannot live on the scorched earth from a super nova sun and there are few friendly faces for Stel. She keeps on losing but continues hoping, in what is actually an incredibly depressing read, but can be somewhat uplifting when your feeling LO... sorry, when you’re feeling blue or depressed yourself! Finally, excellent quality construction, the pages are not too glossy and are stitch bound. The book is massive and bigger than most HC collections. I included a photo for reference- on the right is the latest issue of Low: the actual monthly serialized comic. BIG difference.

Fast and good
Arrived very fast from US to Spain, several days before it was due. No customs problems or anything to pay, and state of the product was just perfect, newly printed and wrapped in protective film, no problems at all. Book is MASSIVE, pages are thick and printing quality is just superb saturated, color is just vibrant and perfect. Very happy with my purchase.
