Used for drilling into tile, did the job and still have spares

Bought this set to drill a single hole in a large bottle for a lamp kit.I googled and searched and was informed by the internet this was the piece of kit to do the job.I needed a 5mm hole and all that happened was the drill bit ate the tape that was meant to stop it skittering across the surface.several attempts later I had a slightly scratched jar (my test jar)I used oil and still no impact on the glass.my last attempt was to make a smaller hole and increase it, I did achieve a smaller hole but couldn't get the larger bits to work.Overall can't say I am impressed and now have a new drill bit set that looks a bit weird

Item arrived within two days from order. Used to drill hole in base of glazed pot, not something you need to do very often, so useful to have available when needed. Kit includes a large number of different sized drills.

Worked fine for putting hole through my 3 litre jack daniels bottle to convert it into lamp. Best advice I could give is when doing this have a small plastic drinks bottle full of water , put a hole in the side at the bottom and while your drilling the the hole the water will spout out the hole over the drill bit

They're good. I've drilled a number of ceramic pots, some glazed some raw. Worked great on all of them.If you're not using a pillar drill then they will 'skate' about the surface.Recommend that you start the drill bit on an angle and then gradually lift it vertical if youre using them with a hand drill.Highly effective tho.

Used to drill through 10mm ceramic tiles , no problem at all.

These are very useful if you need a cheap set of diamond hole cutters but don't mistake them for higher quality versions. After a bit of use, it is fairly easy to have one break but at this price you can't complain.
