Good product
Great for smaller projects drilled multiple holes in harden concrete 6 inches deep quick and easy. Just use the correct bit.

Got the job done fast enough
This works surprisingly good for something that is so light and comfortable to use. I can't speak for brick or solid concrete, but it did quite well creating a 3/4" hole through a block wall.I used this for creating a hole for conduit to an outside receptacle. I misjudged the size and should have gone at least 7/8" for the 1/2" conduit. But a little sideways drilling after the fact easily made the hole big enough. I did make sure to drill through the part with the hollow center. At no point did it feel like the tool was straining and although it certainly isn't going to be as fast or powerful as a 115v tool, it was still a fast painless process. I did break a chunk out coming through the other side but that seems pretty par for the course for me and any one of these I've ever tried. Luckily it was no bigger than the outlet box. I wonder if there is a trick to preventing that?

Works great
Set bolts in old concrete as easily as a regular drill goes through pine. Use ear protection, tho! It does go through batteries, so have a couple charged if you have a lot to do.

Works well to drill into rock and masonry!
Works well to drill into rock and masonry, using a good masonry drill bit was able to easily create holes in tough granite and quartz rocks larger than basketballs! Only concern I have is it is front heavy and will n ot sit upright. That doesn't really worry me because it does the job!

durable
Its performance for the price is highly recommended. It is easy and light. Very comfortable for tight places.

great tool. saw a video of someone using a hammer drill to drill into hard dirt and rock
I got this and a high quality 18" Masonary drill bit and was amazed that it'll drill right into rock allowing me to have good pilot holes for T-post. Works on Texas Sandstone and Limestone. I'm impressed with this hammer drill!

Great for drilling block
I bought this for installing peg board panels on block walls. It worked great, drilled easily without blowing out the back of the blocks. I have a regular hammer drill but didn't use it for the very reason it blows out the back side of the block. Also the Riobi unit is much lighter! I love Riobi tools!

Underpowered
I got this simply because I already many Ryobi tools and batteries. It really is underpowered and you can expect to spend a great deal of extra time drilling into concrete. In hindsight I would have purchased the Bauer for the same price - it has twice the power as this Ryobi.
