Our new favorite snack. So many different flavors and fun stuff to try
We just received our first Subscribe & Save box of the Mega pack. These have instantly become the favorite for the family (me, wife, 13yo, and 7yo). When we open a new one we make an announcement "Trying a new Nutruit" and everyone comes down to taste. My favorite so far is the grilled olive, the kids both like the fruit bites, my wife can't decide... but we're only about halfway through the flavors. We did one spicy chickpea and now really want to try that one on a salad. Great, healthy, fun flavors and most can go to the kids' school for snack because they don't contain nuts. I'd definitely recommend trying a box and if you like them do the Subscribe. It brings the cost of each pouch down to about $1 and you wont get anything more tasty, fun, and satisfying for that price.

Some Good snacks, some Gross Snacks. Nothing filling.
Like most foods, taste is a matter of subjectivity - what's delicious to one person is disgusting to another, or just okay to the person you're offering them too. The biggest problem with the Nutruit Gourmet Healthy Snacks - 32 Pack MEGA Variety Box is the potential lack of consistency. I made the mistake of buying this without reading reviews - Had I done so, I would have noticed some buyers aren't getting a great variety of snacks. The image shows a large variety of snacks, but you're likely to get alot of repeat items. I only got one pack of fermented carrots and one pack of olives in which I wanted more of, and instead I got plenty of Chickpeas, Fruit Bites, and Roasted Lentils, all of which I can do without. (The Lentils are ok IMO, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy them). My box had no trail mix or mystery flavor snack, and I really would have loved more of the carrot or olive snakcs. As of this review, I haven't tried everything, but alot of repeat or similar snacks mean I know effectively what I'm going to get. And while it is nice to have a semi-healthy snack option (or at least something less greasy and salty than chips and jerky), the small packages mean you'd probably need 2-3 packs to curb any hunger, likely defeating any sort of health/calorie benefit. One pack would better serve as a garnish or topping for a dish versus a snack between meals. Now to review the snacks themselves _Fruit Bites_: Easily the worst of the bunch - small ball shaped snacks made with Dates and/or Figs with with other fruit or ingredients. These were awful and I could just imagine offering these to the "not so adventurous food eating" friends and family, that would hesitate to put these in their mouth, let alone spit them out. I remember seeing an episode of Hoarders where one strange lady had some weird, black molded looking, years (decades?!) old, small snacks in jars that looked truly horrific and yet she was proud to eat. They look like and taste like what I think those would taste like. I like Fig Newtons, but I don't care for these. I could stomach some of them, but the Energy Fruit bites made with Cacao and Coconut are a special kind of gross I threw away after one bite. My understanding is that Dates are more common in Middle Eastern cuisine, but I can't recommend these to anybody I know. I gave them away at work. _Roasted Chickpeas_: I'm not a chickpea person, but I'm more tolerant of them thanks to a hot hummous dish I had a few years ago, that made me also tolerate (and then eventually enjoy) cold hummus. Still doesn't mean I like these though. I remember the ingredients list having curry and I think it may have also had sugar. Honestly, I don't remember exactly what they tasted like but I know I didn't like the taste or texture. I also gave these away and didn't look back. _Lentils_: Story time: I bought some Spicy-ish dried snow pea snacks earlier this year. Theyr'e not bad, but I don't love them either. They're not as good as the Wasabi/Sriracha Pea snacks you'll find in Grocery or Asian food stores, and I still haven't finished them, but I'll grab pack every once in a while. Roasted Lentils remind me of them - this roast hardened snack that can get annoyingly stuck in your molars. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy/eat these, but if I got nothing else handy to eat in the vicinity, then I can eat these. I might give them away. _Fruit Strips_: This probably makes up the bulk of the pack. If you had any fruit leather or fruit puree snack, then you'll have a similar experience here. I say similar because these are dusted in rice powder that gives them a light, powdery, starchy exterior that I don't love, but I can live with. I assume they're necessary for anti-sticking, like cornstarch for gummy candies, but they feel more stuck on the snack versus your typical gummy bear. They're not bad though, and Peach ones smell great and taste pretty good. Some can be bought separately, but are out of stock. _Apple Crisps_: If you had dried apple chips then you basically know what to expect here - apples, cinnamon, maybe some sugar, and you can't go wrong... well maybe besides the fact they're VERY small, so you're grabbing pinchfuls unless you're patient enough to eat near a hundred or so tiny chips individually. I had one pack left open for a day and when I tried them again, the remainder was soft/soggy. _Fermented Carrots_: If you've ever had a fermented or picked vegetable topping with some Asian Food, then you should know what to expect. A salty, tangy, briny, lightly sweet little root veggie snack that would be a great asian food topping, or just a snack. They're less tangier than something like pickles, so pickle haters might like them too. Yummy. Very disappointing that there was only one package AND you can't buy them separately. _Olives_: Do you like green olives? If yes, you'll like these. I also like chili and black pepper so I liked the ones they have here. What a shame I only got ONE pack of seasoned olives and no Grilled, Lemon, or Orange olives as pictured on the store. Olive packs can be bought separately....except for they're out of stock. The lack of olives of carrots are honestly enough to lower this rating to a 2/5, but i'll keep it a 3 because your experience will vary depending on what you get. I was going to recommend considering getting their "single snacks" of the strips or olives, but they're out of stock now and it's very likely they're using the variety packs to cleanout their remaining stock of snacks permanently - so the variety pack is a GAMBLE. I personally won't be buying this variety pack again, but at least some of the snacks are worth stashing my drawer at work.

Nice snacks
Perfect snack to give to physical therapists. Had variety, was healthy, perfect portions, and excellent value for the money. And yummy!

Zero variety in the box!
Ordered this box before and loved them. Loved the quality, variety, and taste. This time, I didn't realize at first so I started eating them. But the the variety that was supposed to be in the box is not. With literally only one package of olives. Won't order again.

Yummy, low calorie snacks on the go
We ordered these three times and loved all of the flavors. Never received anything damaged or out of date. I'd keep a few in my desk at work to stave off afternoon cravings.

Snacks on the go
I've been using these as snacks or supplements for my lunch. So far, I love all of the products except one. The Banana fruit strips have a "natural banana flavor" that is overwhelming and tastes artificial. The other things have been fantastic. I like that the box has a mix of sweet and savory, soft and crunchy.

Some of the flavors are fantastic!
I first tried the Nutruit snacks at a local golf club. I was so impressed with the product. The taste is wonderful. Everything is fresh. The ingredients are clean. The small packages are convenient. I loved it so much I ordered the large multi-pack on the spot so I could try more of the flavors. When I got the product at home, I was equally impressed with the quality and the product as a whole. Unfortunately, I didn't love all of the flavors. The fruit strips are great. The fig and hazelnut fruit bites are tasty. Even the grilled olives are good. But I found some of the flavors to not be as satisfying. I would definitely repurchase this product if I could personalize my own product medley.
