Truly a very good cup of coffee. Ive had many many cups of coffee over time and most disappoint for one reason or the other. Lately I have been trying different brands and they always comes up too bitter - I have to add salt and more hot water etc. But honestly, this tastes so good! It's not bitter or acidic. Tastes fresh - has a unique flavor, almost buttery. I don't have to do anything to change it. It was on sale so the cost was affordable. Not sure what the full cost is, but I really like it so it would be worth it. UPDATE: today the cup of coffee was a little too strong. idk if it’s the mug I used or the coffee. But it’s not as good today.

Being from the Bay Area, I feel we have a more eclectic palette for coffee than most. Many of us do not do Starbucks, but my story on Starbucks. I went with a friend and she got me a black coffee. I couldn't finish. It was so bad. I figured out why customers do all these sugar pumps of crap for your system. It's because the coffee is so bad. I compared Pete’s process with Starbucks coffee beans, both decaffeinated and caffeinated. It's much healthier process of Peet’s than Starbucks. Starbucks used, not sure now. A chemical process, not a water steam. I stick with Pete’s or if I do change, I go with Louisiana brand coffees with chicory. I'm waiting for Pete’s to do a chicory. Hint. Hint. I like this particular café Domingo coffee because it's so smooth. You get the strength of drinking a cup of coffee, but it's not bitter.. The finish is really almost sweet. It's not a weak coffee, Pete’s makes coffees that are lighter but from my review, this is a really nice coffee.

Most of the time I'll drink some coffee to get started in the a.m. and tried a lot of different ones. I used to enjoy Folgers Kcups until I found out how they make and grade their coffees. I stopped buying it and tried Peets, based on internet feedback from several sites. The 2 I was told were really good are Peets Big Bang and Cafe Domingo. The Big Bang was good but the Cafe Domingo was like turning on a light switch. It was better than I hoped for. The taste was good and no acidity that usually can ruin a cup of Joe! It's smooth, has a good flavor, and got me to make a 2nd cup, which I never do. I make my coffee with light cream(16oz half and half mixed with 9oz heavy cream) for areas that sell it as "light"(no, its not diet, just less fat). No sugar. I tried milk and sugar in my coffee when I was young and it revolted me. Cream and nothing else! This coffee will not disappoint! I like it so much I ordered a big box of Kcups of it and tossed the coffee I wasn't crazy about. Truthfully! I heartily recommend this coffee.

Decent coffee. About what I expected strength-wise. Nice for a breakfast or midday lift.

Peets is a very good coffee choice. I like the dark roast the best. Medium roast is very good too.
