After using Creed's Virgin Islands Water as my summer scent for a few years, I figured it was time for something different, but tropical. Whereas Creed's leans heavily on coconut, Tommy St. Barts smells like a spoiled cocktail. Frozen Margarita. And I love it. Nothing too serious and that's what summer is about. And it is nearly one fourth (!) of the price of a bottle of VIW!

Poor on performance. Longevity is under 1 hour

Fragancia deliciosa, tropical, marina con un toque a Tequila más a margarita de limón, muy fresca, para el día, épocas de calor, duración 5 a 6 horas proyección 1 hora, pero la mayoría de las fragancias acuáticas no duran mucho. Huele delicioso, compra segura.

Excellent fragrance

Que me gustó: El aroma es a cítricos, me gustó mucho su aroma para el diario. Posee relativamente buen fijador. Leí otras reseñas y en una de ellas comentan lo mismo, la cuestión del fijador, pero es de entender que si "eau de toilette", esa va a ser una característica, una fijación pobre del aroma. Ahora, el aroma es fresco, y lo recomendaría para el diario, para proyectar una imagen fresca, elegante y de limpieza. La relación calidad-precio la considero muy buena. Por ahí leí que también es cierto que el pH de cada quien puede afectar el aroma, no fué mi caso que el aroma fuese deagradable, pero es cierto, una vez compré una loción de Calvin Klein, de frasco negro, y me resultó completamente repulsivo el aroma. Que no me gustó: Pues no, no hay algo que no me haya gustado, hasta la botellita la encuentro bonita.

Let me first start by saying I'm into Fragrances and I've learned that price is often not indicative of likeability of smell. The two reasons I find this to be the case is that opinions are in the eye of the beholder (we don't all like the same smells) and an individuals body chemistry sometimes just doesn't work with a particular cologne. I have found this out the hard way loving a scent someone else was wearing but once on my skin I was repulsed by it, which invariably gives you a headache or if your like me you want to take a shower as soon as possible to get it off of you. For this reason I recommended testing any scent you are considering and walk around an hour to determine how it works for you. More specifically I won't go through all the notes as some others have done and the cologne has been reviewed on YouTube multiple times but I will tell you this scent is by far my biggest compliment getter from the ladies. To get unsolicited comments in my world is rare ( I've never gotten one for Pure Malt) but this cologne gets them all the time. Even guys ask what I'm wearing and you know men don't often ask that kind of question but its happened numerous times. The only negative I have to say about the scent is it doesn't last long periods and as part of that its projection fades rapidly throughout the day/evening. Some of that is becoming nose blind but not entirely, I know this because if I get a hug later in the evening I am invariably told how good it smells and asked what scent it is, so as far as bang for your buck and in need of a summer scent give this a try I'm afraid in the winter the scent is not as applicable and would fade even faster.
