Always a Good Investment
I absolutely love these bags. They size choices of the package I ordered is wonderful. I have some gigantic bags and even the smallest ones were excellent for my evening gowns and my daughter in law's wedding dress. They suck the air out really easily with the screw on pump. I sat in my couch and filled the bags, sealed them and used the pump to get them nice and airtight. No leaks, no bad seals. I am super happy with my purchase of these bags. I still have plenty for my guest room extra bedding and my down comforters and extra pillows. I try to always have extra bags around for season changes of blankets too. The price is great for what you receive. Very satisfied with the quality of these vacuum storage bags. Excellent suction as long as you hold the spout a little bit away from the item inside to give you an unobstructed pathway for removing the air. I find the best way to remove the air is to adjust the bag edges and remove wrinkles from the bag as you remove air. Keep the wrinkles to a minimum and the edges straight, then when you stack your items they lay or store we'll.

Seasonally Useful, opens up novel storage options
These vacuum bags work great for storing and protecting wool sweaters against moths and for reducing the size of winter clothes, comforters and blankets for summer storage. My first picture shows the sweaters, which I also place in a Sterelite container with moth balls for storing them and providing triple protection. (And this way the mothballs don't stink up the sweaters.) After vacuuming, I can fit about 2 containers worth of sweaters in one container. The second one shows how my blankets turn into soft bricks that I can store on edge in my small closet. For me, this probably let me store 3 times as many blankets as could otherwise be practically stored there. You can see I have a down comforter, some poly blankets, and a quilt up there. Two years ago, I bought the Hefty version of these bags. They worked great but some lost their ability to seal on the 2nd year. I couldn't find them in the sizes I liked so decided to try these Amazon bags. They work great. Unlike Hefty, the vacuum valve depends on a cap. Like Hefty, I don't expect them to last many seasons but the cost per is very low. Having lost several hundreds worth of cashmere sweaters stored without protection, this is a great deal.

All but 2 worked as described. Great for packing luggage.
They work as intended. We bought them early, more than 30 days before our vacation so past the return/complaint time. 2 of the bags did not hold suction. Would recommend testing them immediately upon arrival.

Game Changer for Travel and Storage!
I bought the Vacuum Compression Space Saving Zipper Storage Bags with Hand Pump before a big trip, and now I can’t imagine packing without them! The set of 12 comes in a great variety of sizes — perfect for everything from bulky winter coats (jumbo) to socks and underwear (small). The hand pump works surprisingly well — I thought it might be a hassle, but it only takes a minute or two to fully compress a bag. If you’re using it at home, it also works great with a vacuum cleaner. Once sealed, the bags stay airtight and don’t reinflate. These saved me so much space in my suitcase, and I love that I can use them for off-season clothes in my closet too. They’re durable, easy to use, and completely reusable.Highly recommend for travelers, apartment living, or just anyone needing to tame closet chaos!

Works great and saves you so much room
My wife bought these, uses all of them, and loves to buy extras. We collected multiple jackets and blankets over the last 3 decades. We are retired military and now we have 3 grandkids, so we ALWAYS have extra blankets, pillows, and linen. The issue is space. These things work great and can save you so much room. We freed up two whole closest by using these bags. Plus, we now live in Arizona, so coats are work maybe once or twice per year, so if they don't get donated, then they go in these bags too. I love pillows and have extras, so they can keep the pillows fresh as well. The only downer is the small slide clips on the opening. They easily fall off and get lost, so buy extras or tape to the bag.

Most of them leak
Only a few that I've tried so far have actually kept the air out. The seal seems too flimsy, and one had an actual hole in it. I haven't had this issue with something other brands.

Like Thanos Snapped Half My Closet Away
Moving with my wife was going fine… until we opened the closet and were swallowed by an avalanche of forgotten hoodies, decorative pillows, and enough old T-shirts to clothe a small village or at least a very stylish raccoon colony. Then I unleashed the Amazon Basics vacuum bags. With each bag I filled and zipped, I felt more powerful. After the first pump, I swear I heard dramatic music swell—like I was assembling the Infinity Gauntlet of organization. One squeeze of the hand pump and POOF—half our belongings vanished into flat, crispy, space-saving pancakes. I looked at my wife, raised my hand, and whispered, “I am… inevitable.”I’ve vacuum-sealed so much stuff I’m considering doing our groceries next. These bags are durable, seal tight, and the hand pump doubles as a workout if you’re into that “jacked minimalist” lifestyle.Bottom line: if you’re packing, moving, or just want to feel like a space-wielding supervillain while conquering clutter, these bags are your Endgame.

Exactly what we needed
These are great for organizing the linen closet, under bed storage, and fitting just a little bit extra on that road trip. The fact you can use a vacuum or not is great, they seal just fine with a built in one-way valve which is amazing. The giant sized ones are in. fact. GIANT. I was able to fit in 2 king comforters and 2 king sized blankets into one. Why you would need a bag that big? no idea. Was it great to move to/from a laundromat on a 'lets do ALL the laundry in one day'? yes, yes it was.
