Good for the job

Oh my word! Perfect for mixing up filler for small or medium jobs. It’s so handy. Really wish I’d bought it sooner. I mix the filler in the pan. Perfect for those little jobs. Before I’d use a hawk - which was not easy as water would usually end up on the floor - or a yoghurt pot.

GOOD - Easy to wash, have lots of room to mix and paste product, sharp edge to wipe off any excess filler, water resistant BAD - found it a little awkward and messy to handle

The 'Mud Pan' as the Americans like to call it, is very good, could do with a grip on the bottom as I have seen on more expensive ones, but you could stick something on the the bottom for more grip, but to be honest haven't needed to. Don't bother buying the plastic version as it's a waste of money just buy this metal one and it will last you. Very easy to use and clean up afterwards.

A tool that any DIYer should have. Perfect for easy filler or plaster. Sharp edges ensures no wastage and makes it easy to clean. If you are contemplating between buying this or the plastic version, then spend the extra few pounds and buy this one! Really impressed.

This is a decent product and there’s not too much else to say about it. It’s well made and durable. Sometimes a bit tricky to get the mix out of the corners but apart from that I thoroughly recommend it

The edges are a little bit sharp as others have said, just lightly sand or file to suit. I had bought a blue plastic one first as others have done only to find some bits of blue plastic come off. This Stanley fits very nicely inside the plastic one .I find it then easier to hold.

I think it is more of a Yank thing - they use these for plastering. I bought this for filling and the sharp edges are great for scraping the filler from knives and is good to carry and hold plenty of filler. Shouldnt rust because its totally made from stainless. Proper plasterers will manage happily with an upturned trowel but DIYers will get a lot of benefit from this. Just dont use quick fill as it will go off very quickly,

✅J’ai pris ce bac à enduit pour mon conjoint qui utilisait jusqu’à présent des pots en plastiques pas très pratiques. Ce bac en acier inoxydable est bien solide, qualitatif et lui permet de mettre une bonne quantité d’enduit. Il n’est pas hyper lourd une fois plein ce qui lui permet d’étaler d’une main et de tenir le bac de l’autre main sans vraiment fatiguer au sol comme en haut d’une échelle. On ne peut pas mélanger l’enduit directement dedans, il faudra le préparer à part avant de le verser dans le bac. Il n’y a aucune fuite, c’est facile à nettoyer et on l’utilise même quand on fait de la peinture. Prix correct pour un produit de bonne qualité, je le recommande.
