I purchased this map as a novelty gift, but it turned out to be quite useful. It's a high-quality map with interesting tidbits of information marked in various locations.

If you have done or intend doing the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal this map is a must. It accurately maps your route highlighting and naming key points and features on route. It is also a great aid to sharing your experience with others.

Bought for a walking holiday.

This should be recommended for all base camp trekkers : a most useful, detailed and helpful map with plenty of information. Probably not enough if you are relying on it as your only source of guidance, but very helpful and put up with a lot of punishment - like misfolding and pulling in and out of pockets without losing any clarity.

Many people will tell you you don't need a map to trek Everest Base Camp - and they're right if your only worry is getting lost, as the trek is so well marked. However the map is essential to know where you're going next and adds a lot of fun to the trek as you plan each stop off en route. This one is great. Really sturdy and won't tear. Takes a lot of beating.

Bought for my dad, who completed the Base Camp trek last year. He took it on the trek with him, mapping out where they stayed each day and it was great to visibly see it on a map when he got home. His trek makes also really liked the product and wished they had one themselves. Very durable. It's now going up at home in a big frame!

Muy buena calidad. Los gráficos mucho más claros y de mejor lectura que el resto de mapas de otras editoriales. El papel impermeable funciona perfectamente y resulta muy útil. Es mucho mas resistente que el papel convencional, después del viaje sigue estando como nuevo.

High quality map for aspirational use, or generally navigating the Khumbu region for trekking. It's also a great companion to reading Everest and nearby mountaineering literature. It puts many of the famous peaks into visual-spatial perspective. Better trekking maps would be needed for hiking, and actual climbing guide books and reports for mountaineering, but this map is fun and good start to trip or expedition planning.

Les prix neufs "cassés" correspondent à des anciennes éditions. Pas trop grave, vu que le réseau "routier" n'évolue guère. Mais tous les vendeurs ne précisent pas l'édition
