Good for the money
Pretty decent, good value for money. Feet sent great so slides a bit without a drum mat. The rod hinge issue others have raised can be easily solved with a small wrap of duct tape or similar. Also product delivered was different to the image shown but not a problem for me

Good for a beginner (initial - grade 2)
This is a basic starter stand I would recommend getting a different clutch as if you tighten it too much you will choke the hat and if its too loose then it won't stay attached

good value, rattles
The long centre piece attached to the pedal has a double join in the middle which unfortunately results in it being a bit loose inside and rattling. However once my band was playing I couldn't hear it and didn't notice the 'give' as I was playing. For the price it's really good value.

This is junk
Do not be deceived into thinking this is a bargain. This hi-hat is little better than a toy. The poles and screws are puny. The two halves of the centre of rod are joined with a connection that has 3-4mm play, meaning you release pressure on the foot plate for 3-4mm and nothing happens to the cymbals! Oh, how I regret parting money for this piece of junk.

Clunk!
Since the central rod is made from two pieces connected with a hinge piece, it rattles noisily when used, and is unstable. In an electronic kit played with headphones, this hi hat stand clanks louder than any other part. Rod should be single piece or screw-together. Shame, there's no need for it to be designed as it is.

Brilliant
Use this with a clamp as I have two bass drums, and it's very sturdy and smooth
