What is the glove used for? The extremely lame directions say that the installer should use the provided glove to prevent damage. Damage to what? There is only one glove so knowing that would be important.

I was looking for a slim, contemporary, yet affordable sconce to mount above our bathroom mirrors, and these fit the bill. I am satisfied with the design and the pleasant indirect lighting that's both soft and bright. They were also easy and straightforward to mount. Some minor criticism: the wires are a bit on the short side, making it a bit of a challenge, but definitely nothing insurmountable. Also, it took me a day or two to realize that on one of them the light does not entirely extinguish; it stays on by a very tiny margin, almost like a night light but even less than that. Other than that it works fine just like the other, and I'm not worried about it. Recommended for its elegantly simple design, ease of mounting and pleasant lighting.

Needed simply wall sconces for one of my rentals to replace some old and ugly wall lamps. Got 2 under $40 with taxes, and they look great. They are very easy to install. There is a mounting ring to install with 2 screws onto the electric device box, and then one screw top and one on bottom. The only part of the installation I really didn't like was the pre-stripped 18 gauge (thing) wires only are stripped 1/4" of an inch. Way to short to marrette with existing 14 gauge wires and quite thin. Difficult to strip a little extra for better contact, but not impossible. The wires were so thin they cut off easily with my stripper, otherwise they are great once installed.

The lights are made with a fragile & cheap plastic and the wiring harness is short and challenging to work with. It did the job, but our lives would have been easier if we just spent a little extra for a higher quality product. 3/5 stars because of the very low price making it a good buy if you are on a very tight budget.

Installed these beauties in a club washroom. They replaced 3 halogen fixtures which consumed 100 watts each. Now they're down to 20 watts each which is a significant reduction. Installation is simple and as you can see from the photo, they look great.
