Perfect for hanging pictures from cinder blocks. The nails don't even bend. Perfect, and cheap also!

When your tool is a hammer. Great little kit to have on-hand, with separations for the sizes. Nails are indeed galvanized and hold up to a fair bit of misuse, as I picked these up for a kiddo's first for-reals toolbox and we've had to pull out several that weren't hammered in straight -- no bending! My place was built in the 70s and is basically a concrete box, so hanging anything on the walls means either using my concrete drill, or 3M tape and hook things. These were fun to use with a rubber mallet to finally get a couple of heavier pictures hung, with kiddo's help. The smallest ones are about the size of finishing nails, so we were also able to stabilize a low Ikea shelving system that we feed our cats on (small shelf for small cat = big cat doesn't eat her food, haha). Cats say thanks!

With some left over crown molding we decided to have it hung outdoors in the entryway. Securing it to the drywall ceiling was no issue but we had no solution in mind to attach it to the concrete wall side. After scouring home good stores and prices I turned to OMOTOOL Brick Steel Nails Assortment Kit. The project was a success! OMOTOOL Brick Steel Nails Assortment Kit arrived kind of loose and had at least a dozen small nails still left in the mailer package. The plastic case used to contain the steel nails is flimsy and does not do a very good job. The hardware however is spot on. These nails worked great driving through a wood surface and into concrete. The actual project's secure points could not be witnessed so I drove a nail into a brick piece in effort to show how easy these work.

Tried these instead of name brand fluted/ hardened nails. Needed to go into some mortar to hang something (I know, going into brick is stronger, but it's in the kitchen and it's a light weight decroative item and I didn't want to damage the brick - easier to fix mortar than brick)... anyway, these worked fine. The did break some of the old bricks I practived on , but that may just be because they were partial bricks already. They also seemed to chip the mortar a little, but still went in fine. I would say good, but not great.
