Well made and presented in a protective pouch. Easy to use and seems to be very accurate testing for A/C leak externally and inside the car and has worked every time.

put it next to the stove, (dont light your stove or you will burn the probe) and it detects natural gas. Also it is set off if you close the end of the probe, so if you push it firmly against the wall, it will also start to beep. detected leak in big fridge, however, was intermittant, even though the smell of the leak was so bad. its more for detecting the high concentration of gas near leakage spot, not in a big area. fun to use to prank people, if you press it against someone firmly it will also start beeping faster

This is an excellent piece of gift and excellent value

My previous one was very difficult to get the sensitivity right for small leaks and it stopped working just out of warranty. This new one didn't work straight from the box.

Doesn't detect any refrigerent nothing you do get a tone but that's about as exciting as it gets
