Fightig Moths
This seems to be the most effective way to get rid of these menacing little insects. They love carpets and anything textile. We use them about every three months and that seems to do the job.

Either dosage is wrong or ineffective against red mite
I ordered this product as I have a larger chicken coop with a red mite infestation and wanted something that would work quickly across the entire coop. I taped up all the ventilation and slats (coop is shiplap) so essentially blocked off all escape for the smoke and the mites. We worked out the dosage rate for the volume of the coop - one cannister was apparently enough, however I wanted to be sure we'd knock the mites on the head, so used two. Set them going, sealed the door, and left it alone for a couple of hours. When I reopened the coop there definitely seemed to be some dead mites, but apparently a lot of them were just annoyed by the smoke and were running riot all over the inside. I set the remaining cannisters up on top of the nest boxes, as the majority of the active were in the top third of the coop. Came back a couple of hours later. Still a huge amount of miffed mites running about. This was Friday. I figured maybe it was a slow acting pesticide. Today is Monday, and there are more active mites than ever. Can't return the product because I've used it. £20 wasted. Tried and tested method I'll be going back to is Indorex spray for the coop and Harkers ivermectin for the chickens.
