This guillotine is excellent. It's sharp and sturdy but also surprisingly lightweight making it super portable. It did take me a bit of getting used to with how firmly to press down the guard so my card didn't slip but now I have the hang of it I'm away! The accuracy of the measurements is spot on and the cut is so clean. I purchased this product while it was on offer so the price point was just in my price range. I highly recommend this guillotine and I'm looking into purchasing the larger one in the future.

I have bought two previous paper cutters but wasn’t getting a clean cut on the card from either of them it was leaving a feathered edge which was ruining my pictures. This guilotine is perfect. It gives a sharp clean cut every time It’s easy to use and has size markings indented into the base. I would definitely recommend this product

My old paper cutter was after a while ripping paper and I was fed up having to order new blades so after looking at reviews I thought I'd try this one. So glad I did its brilliant, I get a sharp cut with no little bits being ripped. Simple to use and store. Have used it to cut thin paper, thin and thick card, perfect each time. Would recommend

I have bought a couple of different paper cutters for card making (the slide along type blade). I found that I would very often finish up with rough edges, that don’t look great on a finished card. Since buying this I have used it every single time and I am more than happy with it. It’s accurate and easy to use. I can cut multiple card toppers etc with accuracy and ease. Recommended. Thanks.

Excellent trimmer. Easy to use and nicely sized, great for taking away to crops or holidays.Cutting tips -Try not to cut through adhesive papers and tapes frequently, if you do have to you can clean the blade by cutting through paper towel soaked in alcohol hand gel - do not wipe along the blade you will injure yourself - cut more dry paper towel to remove residue.Always remember to hold your paper firmly when cutting otherwise the action of the blade pushed the paper and you can end up with an uneven cut, this happens with most trimmers.

cut's the thinnest slice which is fantastic only fault as far as I see it is judging precisely where it cuts a guide for precision cutting would have been excellent which is why only 4 stars

I was torn over whether to get this or not because I had read a lot of reviews saying that it doesn't cut straight etc, but I am so glad I decided to risk it!!!This is able to cut even the thinnest of strips of paper with ease which no standard paper trimmer would be able to do.It is true that if you aren't careful your paper will shift whilst cutting and that has happened a couple of times to me, but the simple remedy to that is to align the paper against the raised edge on the handle side and to hold the paper into place very firmly using the plastic guard. If you do these things you will get a perfect cut every single time.
