I have been using a similar product from a well known manufacturer for more than 20 years and paying almost 5x the price for a lower quality product. As part of my job (now retired) I needed to make instrumentation connections for temporary installations and used a brand name M12 4 pin connector with all the wonderful IEC ratings to do this. Work paid for them so I always got what I thought was the best. Over the years several of these (when I was scrapping out installations) found their way home and I used them for various inhome projects. Overall M12 connectors are awesome and very versatile. They are weather resistant (IP67) and the terminal screw style allow you to use them and reuse them for different applications. Add in the higher voltage rating -250V- allows them to be used on so many systems. (Note I would never use these at a voltage above 120V personally) So for years I used the brand name ones - work was paying - and I wanted that brand name to assure the ratings were legitimate IEC certs, etc. Note I had a number of issues with the brand name ones, the terminal set screws would often break when trying to tighten them down, the threads were course and would often not fully seat, and overall the cheap metal/plastic of the threaded connections were just not well made. So now retired I need a few replacements for around the home projects and did not want to pay for name brand units (heck these were minor house projects at low voltage). So I took a shot on buying these units. OMG these are so much better made than the brand name ones I have been using it is ridiculous. The threaded connectors are clean, heavy duty and thread fully together tightly assuring a great weather proof seal (the brand name ones almost never fully engaged properly). The screw terminals are at least twice as beefy and clearly better made. And the terminal labeling is clear and easy to read (some of the brand name ones you need a magnifying glass to even see them). Clearly these are much better made units. And a fraction of the cost. Note of caution though - I do not see in their listing any reference at all to any IEC or other certification. This is probably why they are so much lower cost - those certifications come at a cost. But for my application (no certification or liability involved) these are by far the best value - and will definitely be my go to for future projects. Thank you so much for making a product that far exceeded my expectations.

These are easy to use and solidly built. I used them for video in my van. They are larger than the typical aviation connector so you need to use them in pairs.

Had to relocate video recording devices to hidden secured location. Made the extending of the 4pair ethernet cables easy. Quality is great.
