Only needed the white thing because the one I ordered with a different set of led lights stopped working aft awhile so I bought this and I’m so happy with it it works just like the old one when I first got the lights and bought this part like a year ago, works great, 100% recommend.

Easy Installation and comes with sticky adhesive to help stick to the wall.
This product was easy to install and did not take any to put up. The adhesive made it easy to stick it to the wall and caused no damage taking down the control.

Not long lasting
This is the second set we have ordered. They were easy to install along the top of our daughter's bedroom walls. They looked great for a couple of weeks, then stopped working. We bought another set thinking is was just the main connector. Worked great again for awhile. She's 17, so she's not messing with them a lot. Just not long term lights?

It did in fact work and my son LED lights were no longer red lol

Works well.
This works well controlling two 30' strips of LEDs. These are mounted outside under a deck, so I haven't had tome to see how weatherproof they are as yet. It's a dead ringer for the controller that comes with LED strips, except it has two strip connectors. It also came with a new remote.
