Works well, when it works!
Great little machine, for as long as it works. Spent some time carrying out adjustments to make everything flat, square and accurate prior to switching on, only to have a burning smell and a not-normal sound when it started up. Used it for about 15 mins, then it started to blow the full house electrics, even though it was running through an rcd, accompanied by the sound of a flash-over inside the motor. Great pity as it’s a competent machine while it works.

a loverly little hobby machine
it comes with a blade setting device, the squaring up fence is quite good for a cheap planner, lovely smooth cut , but swapping over from surface planning to thicknessing is a faff but that's health and safety for you, overall very good for bigger hobby work where a proxxon is just to small

To think about when buying.
When you use the thicknesser the extraction port nozzle points towards you and blows all the sawdust in your face! also you have to take the fence guide off for the plane to put the extraction port on, to use the thicknesser, pain in the backside, with other makes you don't get either of these two problems.
