As someone with zero experience with fragrances, I bought this set to check out what all the fuss was about and see what scents I liked. For my level, $27 for a pack of five was slightly more than I was happy with, but nothing absurd. There's an extra fragrance bottle, so this is actually a set of SIX. The scents have a pretty wide range in my opinion. I tried these scents several times over many weeks and asked two friends, one guy and one girl, what their thoughts were. We all had fairly different opinions for each one. For this particular set, I really liked two of the scents and strongly disliked one of them. Thus, fragrances are evidently very personal. -- Longevity -- As a newbie, my technique is poor, so take my report with a grain of salt. I settled on using three half-sprays, one behind each ear and one on the back of my neck - from what I researched, this is very conservative. With this amount of fragrance, I can smell that I have it on if I concentrate on it - otherwise I quickly forget about it. Some of the fragrances last 6 hours or so, whereas some other fragrances that I sampled from friends barely lasted an hour. I also tried spraying my bed before I went to sleep. This was a pretty nice experience, but the scent hardly lasts an hour this way as well. Indeed, I do recall hearing that spraying your clothes (and thus, a bed) is good for projecting the scent but terrible for longevity. I find that I don't care much for fragrances after all, so I'll probably use the rest of the samples as a bed spray of all things. As a final note, these bottles look tiny, but luckily a single spray doesn't take that much volume. A conservative person like me can use the same bottle at least 15 times, whereas people who spray more liberally should be able to get 3 solid uses out of it. It's just a sample after all, albeit a 6 for $27 sample.

Not worth the money and can’t return. They are samples like you get for free sometimes.

Each one was a good size for a sample. Unfortunately, I didn't like any of the scents, which struck me as herbal and masculine. Not for me.

It was nice to get to try out multiple scents, important to know how they smell on me over time. But the name of the fragrance is only in the large card, not the sample bottle, so it's aggravating and inconvenient.
