Perfect for my needs
This alarm is not too load with an intermittent sound, making it suitable for home use. I installed it near my basement hot water heater, which is powered by solar panels, to alert me if the temperature exceeds a set point. The wiring process was straightforward, and I appreciated the option to connect the light and buzzer separately. While not for industrial applications, this alarm is perfect for monitoring stuff at home and alerting the household. I would say its not quitre as load as a smoke alarm. Hopefully that helps.

Does whay I wanted at a good price
I bought this to alert us in the back of our home when my Mom with cognitive issues tries to leave the house alone. I mounted it on a PVC outdoor junction box with 2 switches to enable light and beeper, separately, with a line cord to connect to a "smart plug" linked to the door sensors. Light is bright enough to notice during the day as well as at night. The beeper is pretty loud in the bedroom, so I put a bit of paper toweling on top of the speaker inside the unit. There is a single screw under a sticker on top that allows removing the covers for access. Now it is about right! There were wiring schemes printed on the generic box, but not for this unit. Grey is "common" (not "ground"), Red turns on the light, Violet turns on the beeper.

Works great. Perfect alarm.
This little alerting light and buzzer works perfectly in my setting. I have it connected to a temperature sensor so it lets me know when things are not okay. The wiring diagram is printed on the box, but is so simple that it's hardly necessary.

Not Loud
The buzzer (if you can call it that) is not loud and very high pitch. It is not continuous but an on off deal.

Here's the deal on the wires
Grey to one side of 110v. Purple is the beep. High pitched, not very loud. Red is the light . Light does not flash. Works well, I like it.
