The Original Decaf Whole Bean Coffee, Medium Roast, 21 Ounce (Pack of 1) - Sweet, Fruity, Well Balanced

This brand of coffee has been around for a long time and it’s just as good as when it was introduced. Been around since Folgers . It tastes great and smells good. I’m glad I found this again.

Almost tastes like regular coffee.

I was buying decaf coffee beans from a high-end coffee roaster here in San Diego. Despite a premium price of nearly $20 for a 10oz bag, I was very disappointed with the results. So, I decided to give Eight O'clock Decaf a try. Using a good quality grinder and a French press, this made coffee almost indistinguishable from regular caffeinated coffee. I usually mix decaf and regular coffee together to make a "half-caf" blend, but using100% decaf is still excellent. I find that making it a little stronger than I would make it with regular caffeinated coffee works for me but that's a matter of individual taste, of course. In any event, this is an excellent value for the money, and I plan to stick with this product.

This is actually a pretty tasty bean. The strength of the medium roast and bold flavor are perfect for a nice espresso or cappuccino. Took a few pulls to dial in, and the final shot came out pretty good. Not bitter or astringent with a decent and mild balance with a smooth taste. This however is achieved by changing different parameters with grind and brew length etc… I give this four stars, however, because of the freshness. I have found that buying beans on Amazon can sometimes be hit and miss. The chances of getting fresh beans seem to be greater when you purchase directly from the provider instead of a third-party. With that being said these beans still produced a moderate amount of crema. Enough to pour some acceptable art. For the price, I was in a pinch for some decaf until I waited for an order to arrive in a week from the purchase. The quick delivery and decent price gave it good value for the money. If it was a fresher bean it would have easily gained 5 stars. Still a pretty good product.

Good coffee tastes good I like a light roast more. A bit bitter seemed fresh

Coffee taste so much better when freshly ground. This is a great tasting brand.
