Compact and powerful
I use this subwoofer with my KEF LS50 Metas and they are a perfect match. When properly adjusted you can't tell where the bass from the LS50s ends and the KC62 begins. Crank them up and they will shake the whole house. You can really feel the bass.

Exceptional Pairing with KEF LS50s: A Game-Changer Subwoofer
As a long-time fan of compact subwoofers, I've owned several, including the SVS Micro 3000, Q Acoustics, and a classic Velodyne HGS-10. Initially, I was skeptical about the KEF subwoofer due to its small drivers, being accustomed to 8-inch or 10-inch units. The absence of advanced features like SVS's active equalization also gave me pause. However, all my doubts vanished after experiencing the KEF. I am now a true KEF believer! I was genuinely shocked by how seamlessly the bass integrates. It's incredibly difficult to discern that a subwoofer is even present, a stark contrast to most subs that often introduce noticeable frequency bumps or dips. With the KEF subwoofer engaged, my LS50s gained several octaves of seamless extension, significantly enhancing the depth and width of the soundstage. What's even more impressive is that this small subwoofer reaches notably lower frequencies than my 8-inch driver SVS 3000. Another astonishing aspect is the near-zero cabinet vibration. I expected a small sub to "hop around," but this unit seems to defy physics. I cannot overstate how perfectly this subwoofer complements the LS50s. Furthermore, its compact size and the fact that it houses 6-inch drivers make it an instant conversation starter among friends. I'm unsure how KEF achieved this, but the result is fantastic! I wholeheartedly recommend this subwoofer to anyone who owns a pair of KEF LS50s. Regarding its $1600 price tag, I'm enjoying it so much that I would gladly pay more. After all, I've invested in three or four other subwoofers in my quest for the "holy grail" match for my LS50s, and this KEF has finally delivered.

Brilliant!
This is the smallest subwoofer I have ever owned. It sounds great with my LS50 Metas in my 2.1 system. It also looks great and has a very high build quality.

Amazon shipped a returned product, subwoofer is good, not great...
When I received this subwoofer it come in an amazon box, which, once opened, had the original KEF product box inside. The original box was badly damaged, and had clearly been opened already, and poorly at that. When I opened the KEF box, the subwoofer had been incorrectly packaged and the protective trays inside the package were half torn up and degraded. I pulled the subwoofer out and there were scratches on it and a dried up loogie (yes, someone had spit on it). Bottom line, this was clearly a return, and one that Amazon didn't even evaluate before they sent out the door again. I wonder how many times it had been returned before?? Not cool, Amazon, especially for a $1500 subwoofer. Obviously I returned it, but not before firing up the sub to see what it sounded like, as I was really curious to see if KEF had pulled off the impossible. I'm well versed in adjusting subwoofers to my space and after spending some time getting it calibrated, I had the subwoofer roaring. Truly impressive what KEF has pulled off, however, it just doesn't sound as good as traditional larger subs. It's cool that it's so compact and can fit into tiny spaces, but it's not the bass I'm looking for, and probably wasn't the bass that the previous purchaser that spit on it and returned it, was looking for either. I'd give the sub 3 stars for bass quality. I ended up going with the SVS SB 1000 Pro, which is a bit larger and not quite as aesthetically pleasing, but more than half the price and I'd give it 5 stars in sound quality. Getting a returned and damaged sub at full price was enough to scare me away from ever buying sound equipment from Amazon again. Would highly recommend another retailer, like Crutchfield for this kind of equipment. I still am very grateful for the services Amazon provides, but this purchase certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm glad I bought it.
I'm using KEF LSX II bookshelf speakers paired with a KEF KC62 subwoofer in my small bedroom. They make a great combination. If you feel that your bookshelf speakers lack sufficient bass, and you don't feel immersed when watching movies or playing AAA games, you can add a KC62 subwoofer. It will instantly elevate the experience, allowing you to become more engrossed in the audio-visual content. If you enjoy listening to hip-hop music, it will also perfectly reproduce the full range of the music. With the rhythmic bass, you'll find yourself unconsciously moving to the beat. The bass is deeper and more powerful.

JUNK
JUNK!! Subwoofer has constant popping sounds. I have tried using the ethernet cable for faster internet connection to air play with Apple Music, still have popping sounds. I play music via Bluetooth and AUX with my record player, still have popping sounds. Heck, when I don’t play music at all, there are popping sounds. I unplugged all power source for a whole day and when I plug everything back in, still have popping sounds.

Perfect little Sub!
The LS 50’s without this little sub is not a complete system! You can hear how well they have been developed to make the perfect small room wireless set up! For $4K you cannot buy a better speaker system. I auditioned th B&W’s as well as the new Sonus Faber, both costing much more but not nearly as good! I have long been a fan of KEF all the back to my first 104.3’s and KEF continues to produce amazing speakers. The bass of the KC62 is tight and very defined but not overwhelming. I have these set up in a small apartment living room which I believe they were engineered for, in a large room I do not think they would be as impressive.
