Cefaly Set: Anti-migraine & Anti-stress

I was VERY sceptical about this product. I have suffered from migraine for 40 years, since age 10. My migraines were pretty much constant and I have no words to describe the impact they have had on all areas of my life, from career choice, to quality of relationship, to being a parent. Everything!! I recently had a migraine that lasted for three weeks almost non-stop, so in desperation, I bought this and had it shipped, to some expense to my home in Qatar. Initially, it was difficult to get used to. At first it invariably caused a migraine within about the first five minutes. It was painful, (no other way to describe it!). But after about 3 weeks of daily use (3 x 20 minute sessions), I have become more accustomed to the sensation. Significantly I have not had a single migraine in the 3 week period. This, despite engaging in activities that would previously have inevitably triggered a migraine (eg attending an two-day academic conference, exercising, missing a meal, driving in crazy Doha!). I have not had to take any painkillers since using the Cefaly (local doctors are pretty cavalier and will prescribe 200 Immigran at one go). Previously I was pretty much on them all of the time. I can honestly say this device has been transformational for me. I feel as if I have been given my life back. I only hope the changes are maintained. I will not be without my Cefaly. My only criticism is at this price, there should be more than one electrode supplied. If you are ordering, make sure you buy spares at the same time. If you have frontal migraine that is associated with the Trigeminal Nerve, then I strongly urge you to give Cefaly a try. UPDATE: I have not had a migraine now for about two months. I am using the Cefaly about once a week (in reality, I forget to use it more regularly). However, I have begun getting headaches at my temples, which I never had previously. These are occurring about once a fortnight. They are at a much lower level than my previous migraine and feel almost like a 'scratching' on the inside of my skull rather than a full-blown migraine. Perhaps Cefaly can produce an extension for the temple area. Similar to the one that is now available for the back of the head. I am now engaging in many more activities than before and I no longer have the constant fear, or experience of unremitting pain. I cannot recommend this product highly enough!

I bought his product a couple of months ago and I want to share my experience for other Migraine sufferers. I suffer Migraine headaches about 6 times per month and I use prescription tablets (Sumatriptan) to control the attacks. I have been suffering these headaches for many years and they are pretty miserable although I can generally function reasonably well if I take a tablet but it makes me feel miserable and grouchy. I bought the Cefaly in the hope that it might improve the situation and I am glad to report that it seems to be working. My first few uses of the Cefaly were pretty daunting - it feels very peculiar ... like someone is massaging your head and face. But the instructions are very detailed and I was determined to persevere with it. After two months, I am experiencing far fewer headaches (2 this month rather than the typical 6) .. and they are less intense than before. I am using the Cefaly maybe three times per week now (I started out doing it every day) and I usually fall asleep before the 20 mins treatment is complete. I find the 20 min session quite relaxing but I am not able to do anything else because I find it most comfortable with my eyes shut. I would definitely recommend this .. if you can afford the initial outlay then it is worth trying because it has certainly interfered with my usual pattern of headaches and it has certainly reduced their frequency and their severity. My headaches are not gone completely .. so I won't give it 5 stars ... but I am optimistic that the treatment seems to be working and the situation is still improving after two months.

I think the device is an excellent device it removed part of the discomfort I got from my chronic migraine and other issues unfortunately it could not fix the problems with my sight caused by it. the costumer support is excellent and when I requested a refund they asked me to send the Cefaly back and as soon as they got it they immediately issue it. I think it is very good for migraine sometime even too powerful it wasn't suitable for my particular problem but for alleviate the pain it is good in did.

We found the device to be unsatisfactory as even at the highest setting it does not seem to help the really bad migraines, we have also found that it doesn't always start up even after re-cleaning the forehead and fitting new batteries and electrodes. We may have a faulty unit because sometimes it starts up ok. Really helps with prevention-I've been free of migraine for 3 weeks,which has been the longest time free of migraine all year!

Interesting product and interesting technology - I was sceptical at first but I'm happy to say it works for me! My headaches and migraines have been reduced quite significantly after 3 weeks of using the product. I don't find the time to use it every evening; I imagine it would work more effectively if I did have the time to use it every evening. I recommend it for any headache and migraine sufferer

Gerät wurde bereits drei Tage nach der Bestellung geliefert. Durch tägliche Anwendung des Geräts konnte ich die Häufigkeit meiner fast täglich auftretenden Kopfschmerzen nur leicht, aber die Schmerzintensität erheblich reduzieren. Ich benutze das Gerät jetzt seit vier Monaten und konnte bei täglicher Anwendung meinen Medikamentenverbrauch sehr deutlich reduzieren. Auch kann ich schwerere Migräneattacken leichter überwinden, weil ich nicht mehr mehrere Tage hintereinander mit sehr starken Kopfschmerzen ausschließlich liegend verbringen muss. Die Behandlung ist am Anfang wirklich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, wie schon ein anderer Nutzer bemerkte. Die Anwendung kann vereinzelt bei empfindlicher Verfassung sogar recht schmerzhaft sein., aber solche Momente stellen nach meiner Erfahrung wirklich eine Ausnahme dar. Ich habe schon nach den ersten Behandlungen eine positive Veränderung festgestellt und kann nach vier Monaten Anwendung für dieses Gerät eine klare Kaufempfehlung aussprechen.

habe gerade die Rezension fuer die Elektroden geschrieben, also nochmals hier. Es hat uberhaupt nicht geholfen, im Gegenteil es hat bei mehreren die Schmerzen verschlimmert. Wir haben es an andere Migraenenleidende weitergegeben, um zu sehen, ob jemand damit Erfolg hat, nichts und wieder nichts. Sogar eine Migraenenaerztin hats bei ihrer Mutter versucht, voller Reinfall. Sehr teuer, sehr traurig, alle hatten solche Hoffnungen. Volle Enttaeschung und Riesengeldvererschwendung, wenigstens fuer unsere Familie.

Nach drei Monaten Einsatz habe ich nur noch alle 2 Wochen Migräne statt alle 5 Tage. Womöglich durch dann unregelmäßigen Einsatz wieder wöchentlich Migräne. Ich habe es irgendwann abgesetzt, da ich auch andere Therapien versucht habe. Aktuell kann ich Aimovig empfehlen, zumindest mir hilft es die Migräne relativ gut auszuhalten.

Lieferung war superschnell per UPS. Gerät sieht echt spacig aus. Anwendung ist sehr einfach, jedoch war die erste Stimulation schon etwas befremdlich. Habe aber trotzdem weitergemacht und mich von mal zu mal mehr an die Impulse gewöhnt. Schon nach 2 Wochen regelmäßigen Einsatzes hatte ich erstmalig das Gefühl, dass eine fest erwartete Migräneattacke nicht auftrat. Setze es seit 6 Wochen täglich ein, hatte in den letzten 4 Wochen statt der sonstigen 6 – 7 Attacken nur noch 3 und diese waren auch nicht mehr so stark wie sonst. Super. Habe bei den letzten 2 Attacken, die mich früher immer für fast einen ganzen Tag ins Bett gezwungen haben, auch mal Formigran weggelassen und nur Ibuprofen genommen. Hat gereicht. Wenn’s nur so bliebe wäre ich superglücklich.

Ich leide seit Jahren unter Migräne. Auf der Suche nach Behandlungsalternativen bin ich auf das Cefaly gestoßen. Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch ob die Wirkung tatsächlich besser ist als meine Medikamente. Aber nach nun 3 monatiger Nutzung bin ich vollkommen begeistert von dem Produkt und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Durch Nutzung des Cefaly bin ich nur noch selten auf meine Medikamente angewiesen.
