LEADSTAR 3D Printer Heated Bed Borosilicate Glass Plate Panel for MK2 MK3 (213*200*3mm)

I've used this on my printer for a while now and it's the best upgrade I've made.I've used it for PLA and ABS. It needs extra adhesive to work well and I have used the slat technique as well as ABS juice. Both are easy to wash off the glass. I even at one point used spray on glue which also was removed easily.The only downside I would say is the size. It fits between the screws of my heated but means there's about 1cm either side which isn't usable. It would be better if it was square with chamfered corners.

Great replacement for my i3 pro c straight out of the box on to my printer and started printing straight away 100% recommended even for a spare (which I have just done)

Good glass print surface.Pity no one makes a full 220mm X 220mm glass as this is the standard size.

I bought two of these as a replacement for the one on my Bibo touch 2.It's a shame that the supplier doesn't have any contact facilities, just returns, otherwise I would have contacted them.The adhesion and removal are fine, but, they fail in the most important aspect of a build plate, in as much as they are NOT flat......Neither of them are. I have tried to show the problem in the picture, you can see the slight distortion of the reflected radiator, particularly towards the edges of the glass. I think you'll agree, the reflection should be perfect.With copious amounts of levelling, I couldn't figure out why the first layer wasn't going down right over a large area, one area would be perfect and another would start showing signs of elephants foot.I had assumed wrongly, that a piece of glass made specifically as a print bed would of course, be flat. Wrong!!I used a straight edge reflecting in the surface and could see the reflection distorting, so that answered the question about my levelling issues.Why oh why do companies even bother to send out items that are not fit for purpose? It's a waste of my time, the delivery companies time, well, everyones time.I would have returned them except for the fact that these were the only ones I could find of the right dimensions and my original had lost chunks out of both facesI thought I would give a heads up to anyone thinking of buying one of these.......they're not dimensionaly accurate and are therefore pretty useless if you want a good first layer.

En mi caso todavía no he podido comprobar si se deforma o no tal y como dice en algunos comentarios. Por el momento imprimiendo PLA con laca Nely extra fuerte me salen piezas de 25cm*25cm de base perfectamente adheridas. Para sacar la pieza del cristal aconsejo de 5 a 15 minutos en el congelador y con la mano casi sin hacer fuerza la pieza sale como si nada.

Il prodotto era contenuto in una busta di carta rivestita di pluriball.MATERIALI E REALIZZAZIONEIl prodotto è un semplice pannello di vetro 213 x 200 x 3 mm. Essendo borosilicato è ideale per resistere a sollecitazioni termiche come il riscaldamento/raffreddamento del piatto di stampa senza subire deformazioni.UTILIZZOHo acquistato il vetro perché avevo bisogno di stampare un supporto perfettamente liscio che mi è stato commissionato. Ho applicato il vetro sulla mia Prusa i3. Il metodo di applicazione è il classico: basta poggiare il vetro sul letto di stampa e fissarlo con delle clip per documenti. La temperatura del piatto non necessita di modifiche: il vetro conduce bene. Calibrando opportunamente la temperatura al materiale può non essere necessario usare collanti, io comunque ho utilizzato una spruzzata di lacca, niente di eccessivo ed è più che sufficiente per far aderire l’oggetto al piatto. Il risultato del primo layer è ottimo: sottintendendo il prerequisito fondamentale di calibrare correttamente il primo layer, la stampa è levigata ed omogenea, utile soprattutto in caso serva che una delle superfici dell’oggetto stampato sia perfettamente liscia.CONCLUSIONIOttimo vetro, il prezzo è in linea con gli standard e la resa delle stampe è ottima: al tatto non si notano minimamente i layer.

Da mein altes Glas leider kaputt ging, brauchte ich Ersatz. Auspacken, montieren und drucken. Haftung ist nicht ganz so optimal. Drucke eigentlich immer mit Tape, somit ist das nicht so schlimm.
