This is a lovely collection - full of nostalgia and wonderful childhood memories for me - an excellent edition printed on top quality white paper with beautiful colour illustrations that are an absolute delight - would thoroughly recommend

Oh Pooh, how could we not love you? You have been my companion since I was six (and that was in 1952). I fell in love with you then and still am. I cried when I left you and Christopher Robbin in The Enchanted Place and tears still well in my eyes when I re-read that ending. This compendium of the original A.A. Milne stories which I have purchased for my newly-born great nephew, will enchant him when he grows big enough to have them read to him and I hope continue to enchant him. The books are beautifully presented and each story is 'bite-sized' for young minds. The bonus is the wonderful E H Shepard illustrations. Although Disney's version of Winnie the Pooh is American fun, it's not a patch on the original and children should be encouraged to read the books before seeing the film. The books arrived super-fast and very well packed. THANK YOU VERY MUCH INDEED.

Perfect gift

Excellent reproductions of the original books together with two books, dealing with Pooh and friends later lives, written in the style of A A Milne and illustrated in the style of E H Shepherd. The latter, although very good, perhaps not surprisingly do not, in my view, capture the magic of the originals. However the whole collection is very good value.

Purchased for my 4 year-old grand-daughter who is just learning to read and loves having stories read to her at bedtime. This series will always be a winner for children, and a lovely set which also looks good on the shelf.

My granddaughter loved the fact I could recite some of the poems from Now we are Six so I purchased the set for her 6th birthday! She loves them as her Mum did too, and her Granny! Fantastic! A much treasured collection!

I bought the books to read to my grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed reading them myself first, after having seen the movie "Goodbye Christopher Robin". The original line illustrations have been colored. The writing is simple but sublime, poetic, playful, intelligent. No wonder the books have been classics for nearly a century.

My wife loves these books, she always turns to them for light reading and a pleasant story.
