A great cooler alternative to you-know-who sasquatch brand! The same value for considerably less cost. This cooler is very light weight for it's size (32 Qt) and is so well designed it holds as much as the 55 Qt blowmold cooler it replaced. Efficiently built. Very sturdy and well-built. Seals nice and tight, yet the rubber locking bands are easy to engage and disengage. Has a variety of color choices, and the gray matched my off-roader interior perfectly. Holds cold well as my catch stayed frozen solid on a trip back south from Lake of the Woods. Has two drain plugs, one on each side; and bottom channels that function to drain any melt-water effectively regardless of which way it faces.

I purchased the RTIC Ultra-Light 32 Quart hoping to get a top quality cooler that would hold my food well on long trips. The price was way cheaper than other similar coolers. It feels well built with the lock downs, insulation and general attention to detail. Test: I ran two tests with this cooler; one to see about the leaking concern I saw other reviews mention in regard to the two drain plugs, and my other test was for simple ice longevity (I did no pre cooling or any of the suggested methods to make ice last the longest). - plug test: I hand tightened the plugs and then added a layer of ice above the plug holes and let it sit for a few days. No water leaked out of the plugs. - ice longevity test: I did a very simple no preparation test of the cooler: just simply drove it down to Costco and picked up a 24lb bag of ice, filled it and closed the cooler. The 24 lb bag is the perfect size to fit food leaving about 15-20% space at the top (basically just touching the basket). I kept the cooler in my living room at room temperature. I did not open the cooler until exact day 3. At day 1 I shook the cooler and could feel very little water or ice movement. At day two I shook the cooler and could feel a little sloshing of water but most of the ice solid. At day to three I opened the cooler (pictured) and could see half the cooler with ice and half in water. At day four I shook it and would feel about 15%~20% if the ice left. All together, I feel this cooler will take care of my needs in being able to hold food for several days without needing more ice. It looks good and fits well in my vehicle. Update: I have since taken the RTIC on a 4 day trip. We made meals ahead of time and froze them. We filled the cooler with our frozen meals to the top (no ice). The frozen food stayed frozen for all 4 days. It worked perfectly. I didn’t need to buy any ice or anything. We were even able to add in groceries we bought. I only finally got ice for the drive home with leftovers. It worked better than expected for my needs. I highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic cooler. Perfect size for taking out on a boat or in a UTV and keeps everything cold like it should. Well made and very durable.

This cooler is the first cooler that is truly lightweight even when filled with ice and drinks/food. We took this cooler camping and it stayed cold the entire weekend. Ice did melt but lasted longer compared to our other brand coolers. It was definitely worth the money. I would recommend sticking with lighter color coolers as they reflect sunlight versus absorbing it like the dark colors do. I have found the ice stays longer in the lighter colors!

my husband loved it ! the quality is great hold ice very well!! we put a whole bag in it for Christmas 12/25/2025 and on saturday 12/27/2025 there was still ice in it! no leaks nothing drinks were nice a cold ! not heavy at all with the drinks and ice together! easy to open the lid, for the price and quality i would definitely recommend this brand !! will definitely be purchasing this brand again !

We got this cooler to replace a 50qt cooler from a similar company. The 50qt cooler worked great but was heavy and hard for my wife to move or carry when full. We switched to this 32qt from Rtic and we are very happy with it. It is well made, stays cold, and is just the right size for us. Just after receiving it we did four days of camping and it stayed cold the entire trip without adding ice. We pre-cooled the cooler the night before with ice which helps quite a bit. As an experiment, after returning, I left what ice and cold water remained in the cooler. On day 6 the last bit of ice was melted but the water was still very cold. It performed as well as I'd hoped. The following weekend we hosted a birthday party and used the cooler to store drinks. We only needed it to be cold for a few hours so there was no issue there. It was really nice to be able to easily carry it around and fit it in more vehicles than out 50qt. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another cooler from Rtic.

Overall I like it. I have only used it once but it held the ice pretty well for a day. Need to look into the multi day use a bit more and see how it holds up. It’s really light and easy to transport which is great. There is a fishing rod holder attachment (non RTIC) that I got that was available on Amazon that works well for transporting the rods on my cart. I love the color, and the 32 qt is the perfect size in my opinion, not too big or bulky and you don’t need a massive bag of ice to be able to cool things. The only issue I have with it is the 32 qt cooler basket is out of stock, and has been out of stock at RTIC for some time. Customer service says they have no time frame as to when they’d be back, which is slightly frustrating because I was really looking forward to using it.

Rtic is great quality. I have many coolers many styles ice packs water bottles thermoses you name it you can’t beat the price and quality. This one is super light and keeps ice as good as the heavier ones but much easier to carry around.
