Not just for square bodies
These were used in my daughters 05 Colorado. As the single cab first gen Colorado's and Canyons do not have rear speakers my options were limited. I decided to try these and not wedge boxes. I'm glad that I did. With a little work I had a clean installation and a very happy daughter while still maintaining space behind the seats.

Fit
Fits perfectly and my 6x9 skars fit

These were the cheapest ones I could find in this style. They fit my 85 K10 fine. I did drill and add an extra screw in each one.

Too shallow and not really a proper way to mount them

Paint quality was not great. The other ones I've seen are bent the other way - I had to add spacers to get even the hollow 6x9 speakers to fit.
