Good Product - some 'ease of use' issues
Small, neat unit. Seems accurate enough though hard to test. The display easy to read.Unnessary 'blinking' display when reading Max or Min temperature values. Why??Fiddly process to read Max & Min values - have to press 'Inside' or separate 'outside' button to cycle through the Max, Min and Current temperatures - but every similar unit seems to use the same kind of system. The MAJOR problem - and hence the 3 stars for 'Ease of use' is that there is no way to reset the Max and Min values without removing the battery - there is no 'Reset' button. How simple would it have been to include one - even if it was a simple push switch which is 'push to break' (i.e. a 'normally closed' push switch) so that it disconnected the battery temporarily. We're not talking rocket science here!Overall, a good prduct and a similar price to others. I like being able to see both the inside and outside maximum, minimum and current temperatures but the omission of a simple reset switch is quite unforgivable.Recommended with reservations.UPDATE:I added a crude 'reset' switch as follows.1) Remove the external temperature probe and battery2) carefully remove the yellow front screen (it is self-adhesive) and remove the four tiny cross-head screws in order to separate the two halves.3) carefully solder very fine insulated wire to the solder pads each end of the battery connectors4) feed these through the small central hole in the back5) solder these wires to a small 'push to make' (otherwise known as a 'normally open) push switch(I used a 'Tact Switch Wafer Thin SMD GOLD MICROSWITCH Tactile Push Button 4x4x0.8mm' from a well-known auction website)6) replace the bottom cover, the four small screws, the yellow front screen and the battery. Now, when you press the button, it shorts the battery (meaning zero volts to the thermometer) and 'Hey-presto!' the thermometer is reset. Just needs a very shork 'click' press to do the job.Hope this hack helps!

Juist great
First class item - details very clear. Easy to set up. Great improvement on broken predecessor

No battery included as stated and on package.
Not as user friendly as hoped for and readings when tested not completely accurate but could just be within the +/-1 degree. The item was supposed to come with battery included, details on package also stated battery included and gave instructions what to do, but no battery hence only 3 stars.

Not sure how accurate it is... Readings were quite different to other thermometers located in the same area. Otherwise, it was great until the cat chewed through the wire for the 'Outside' thermometer...

Perfect and cheap enough
Perfect and cheap enough. I purchased this to replace a rather old one that sits on my kitchen window sill. It’s easy to read with inside and outside temperatures given and a humidity reading too.

Too inaccurate to be useful
The internal and external readings sometimes differ by almost 3 degrees celsius, even if the two sensors are placed directly next to each other. Clearly they can't both be right. No point in using this if it's that inaccurate. There is also no way of resetting the min/max values apart from removing the battery. Bizarre design choice.

Innacurate, poorly engineered and the worst design I've seen on one of these in 15 years.
Buttons are poorly engineered and require excess force, battery cover isn't a great fit due to poor engineering tolerances, it's flimsy, and these are just it's good points. It's got no reset button, on a min-max setup, you actually have to take the batteries out just to reset the counter. What the actual ****. I was buying better engineered version of this that actually worked properly 15 years ago, for less than half the price.Complete junk, don't waste your money.
