Works better on carpets
I moved into a flat with carpeted flooring and my £80 wireless vacuum cleaner doesn't really pick up much especially hair on the floor.Bought this and wow it exceeded my expectations.Pros:Good price for what it doesEasy to assembleMaterial seem very sturdyPicks up virtually everything on the floorSilent to operateEasy to emptyThe included cleaning brush can be attached to the broom and helps a lot to clean the rotating brushesSlim design, can be tucked away easily when not in useCons:Not good for tight spaces as it needs to be pushed to pick up things on the floorDoesn't seem to pick up tiny bits on hard flooringsIts mechanical so expect to use more force than a vacuum cleanerIt will leave streaks on carpets but that's expectedIn my opinion, it doesn't replace a vacuum cleaner when it comes to tighter spaces, but it's great for high traffic areas where a lot of dirt and hair needs cleaning up. Also it works wonders on carpeted flooring.

Handy and does a great job
Marvellous!!Great on carpets, rugs and floors. Even using this sweeper right after using a big, powerful vacuum cleaner this picks up dirt and cat hair. Handy size for storage and so light to use.I'm very pleased with this

Good at what it's designed for.
I've had this for over year and it has been handy for light use. It's not going to replace your vacuum cleaner, it's just not designed for that. Think of it as like a soft brush you'd use on your hard floors, but for your carpet. For example, I received a delivery of bird seed and some spilled onto the carpet. I'd only recently vacuumed so I pulled this out of the nearby cupboard and used it to pick it up rather than digging out the upright cleaner and all that faff. I also use it to pick up grass clippings (once dried) that the dogs regularly deposit on my newly vac'd carpet. It's reasonably well built for what it does, light and easy to use. It works well on carpets. It can also be used on hard floors but larger/heavier pieces tend to get "flicked" rather than picked up so I'd say it's not as useful for that and I'd stick to a soft brush and pan.Only niggle is the, purely aesthetic, plastic cover, where the handle rod meets the sweeper, keeps popping off (hence 4 not 5 stars). For me it's a handy time saver for small carpet messes and well worth the money.

Great sweeper
Brill, sweeps carpet as good as our shark vac, very convenient. Will definitely recommend.

So so
Not bad little sweeper. It doesn't pick up that great on solid floors. Better on carpet. It's bit flimsy. Handle could be longer. Good with dog hairs. Don't think it would last long though

Recommend
This is so handy. I use it often as my dog is a pain if I get the vacuum cleaner out and tries to attack it. This carpet sweeper picks up everything, is easy to empty (and I especially like the comb for cleaning out the brush rollers). I only need to get the vac out once a week which is great for my sanity! Saves on electricity too, double bonus. Thoroughly recommend.

Great little carpet sweeper . .
having bad shoulder's it's not always easy to manoeuvre the dyson i have. I've been looking for a carpet sweeper like we had when I was a kid ,and this one popped up from my watch list as being on offer. it arrived on my day of choice. it was easy to fit the handle onto the sweeper and first off . .what can i say but . . WOW! . it was easy . i have carpet in two of the 5 areas in my flat and it swept the carpet effortlessly and was easy to push/pull . . when i emptied it into the bin the amount of dirt/dust that came out of it truly amazed me .for me,it's a definite keeper! .updated . . Just realised that the brush that comes with it ,clips to the bottom of the handle when it's folded flat for storage . Great place to store it so it doesn't get lost or you forget where you've put it.

Great for quick clean ups...
We have our own black Labrador and also dog sit, so dog fur is no stranger in our house!I try to hoover every day, but I have multiple sclerosis and on some 'not so good' days even walking our heavy (pet hair sucking specialist) 'proper' hoover about can be a surprisingly tiring, so I tried to find something similar to the little 'hoover type sweeper thing' that my Grandad used to use in the 1980s.Instead of having to have a little sit down after a 'proper' hoover (which I'll only do a few times a week now, as I'll rely on this to pick up the daily dog fur), I managed to clean our lounge, stairs, upstairs landing AND bathroom in less than 20 minutes and didn't feel like all the energy had been drained out of me after it, so that's a big plus for me.It's not great at moving crumbs off a hardwood floor, but did pick up all of the fur; was great on the stairs, as it's so light to lift and move about and does seem better suited to carpet, but definitely will get rid of most daily dirt off other surfaces.Easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to clean and definitely makes life a little easier (saving time and energy - mine and the electricity!).Would definitely recommend, even though UmaDog is still a little unsure ðŸ¤
