Bought this from Amazon.co.uk as couldn't get the length and amperage I needed from Amazon.fr or Ebay.fr and local supplier 4 hours drive away Needed it for flexible lead for 4 ring hob hardwired into 32 amp circuit, (same cable as supplied on hob and I don't like cable joins in permanent wiring). Arrived very quickly to France at ok postage cost. Repositioning the hob was holding up a kitchen renovation and this got me out of a hole.

Excellent product perfect for extending my extension lead arrived on time and very good value for money.

I bought this to connect to an external power socket via a cable duct through the garage wall. It is perfect for the job. Not mentioned in the description is the fact that the 3 wires inside the outer sheathing are stranded rather than solid copper. I could have lived with either, but this may matter to some people. It is just about possible to wire into a standard plug, but the plug must have a wide enough entry hole for this quite thick cable. Many do not.
