OP/TECH 1301092 Extensions XL System Connectors - Black

Bought this to add length to an OP/TECH1501372 Pro Loop strap for a camera. The strap as it came was not long enough to put on one shoulder and sling across my chest for anti theft protection and still be able to bring the camera to my eye easily while still wearing the strap. With these extenders I can now do that, and there is enough combined adjustability in the strap and the extenders to get just the right length. they seem to be strong and the connectors seem to be secure enough to give me confidence that the camera will stay securely on. A bit pricey, (as always once you are tied into a system the manufacturer can charge a lot for accessories) but certainly does the job well.

Bought a set of these to go with the Op/TECH Utility sling strap. Perfect for those of a certain vintage with the fuller figure! The sling, even fully adjusted was struggling to get around my portly frame. However, I simply clipped one of these straps in, at it's shortest setting, and the job is done. The whole thing is perfect. With my doubling up of security on the strap (see my Utility Strap review) this product is brilliant. If you are tall like me, or expanding outwards like me, or both, just like me, order a pack of these with your sling.

I ordered these along with the OP/TECH Pro Loop strap, and it is a good job I did as that strap alone is far too short for purpose. Withe these XL extenders added it makes the strap lone enough to wear across your body. This is a simple item that seems well made. I am not giving 5 stars because the price is rather high for what you get.

Very small not really suitable for purpose, these straps would be ideal if normal size. The clips are extremely small too.

Extremely useful in extending the length of the Op/Tech strap. I can now carry a Canon 7D and 400mm lens across my chest instead of down from my shoulder making the camera outfit more secure. It seems to provide full mobility worn this way too as you can raise the camera to your eye far more easily than some other over the shoulder systems.

Genuine OP/TECH CONNECTORS, work as they should, I had to order two sets of these to put right two OP/TECH sling straps bought in error from a camera fair. These straps turn the slings into traditional camera neck straps. I have marked only three stars, as they are far overpriced for what you get, they should be no more than £4.00, they probably cost well under a £1.00 to manufacture. Reliable seller......Martin

At 6foot 4 these were essential for me. The strap is now adjustable to the perfect length to carry my 5dmkiii.If you have the strap and need extra adjustment and you are very tall then the XL is the way to go, if you are not so tall then try the shorter versions

Like all Op/Tech products these are very well made. However, there are so many connectors to choose from, it's important to get the right ones for your camera.
