Perfect for hiking and swimming. The fit is good and maybe a little roomy. If between sizes I would suggest sizing down. Cute and good quality. It's a nice option for when you don't want to wear a bathing suit all day. Comfortable to swim in and dry quickly.

Very versatile short/swimwear. Perfect length for modesty and comfort. Pockets are a great feature! Fits phone and keys. Equally comfortable for walking, bicycling and swimming and dries quickly. Color and material lasts really well - I usually machine wash and hang dry.

I love these. It's hard to find shorts anymore that aren't super wide legged, but also not way too long. These fit perfectly. I know they say swim bottoms but I actually just wear them for shorts. They fit great, they look great, and they feel great. I ordered them in 3 colors.

I like reviews from real women who give their measurements so .... I bought these in the 3-inch length in black in size Large. I am 57 yrs old, weight 156, height 5 ft 7 inches, waist approx 34 inches and hips 42 inches. They fit great, are very comfortable, and flattering and cover the wobbly parts of my upper thighs that I dont' really want on display! I also have them in the 5-inch length but surprisingly I actually think I prefer the 3-inch length. I wanted modesty and coverage and sun protection so that I wouldn't feel awkward in front of my daughters' boyfriends at the pool or lake but still wanted a flattering look. I really like the high waist on these shorts and the mild tummy flattening. Cons: When I wear them in the pool, the 2 side pockets fill up with water and the pockets themselves actually come outside of the shorts and float at the side of my thighs like 2 black bouncy blobs! Rather annoying - I do like the shorts though so will probably sew the pockets shut to see if it fixes the issue but have removed 1 star from my rating because of this design flaw.

Thank you Baleaf yet again for making shorts to fit a curvier body type. I have at least 5 other pairs of black swim shorts and am getting rid of all because I can’t see myself wearing anything but this. I am 5’5, 26 waist, 42 hip and 24 thigh and the small fits like it was made for me. I NEVER find clothes that fit my hip, thigh and waist at the same time. They can definitely pass as actual shorts. The 5” inseam is fantastic. You can kind of scrunch these up the leg a bit for a shorter inseam at the beach if you’d like. They will fold up to nothing if you are traveling. The fabric is smooth and looks like a nice quality piece. The rise covers my stretch marks perfectly, but doesn’t give me that unflattering diaper look that a lot of mid/ higher rise swim bottoms have. They don’t ride up the leg as you walk and are very comfortable.

Very comfortable and great coverage. A zipper pocket would be great, but slit pockets are adequate.

I purchased 2 pair. One each of medium and Large. I am 5’3”, 126 lbs. I wanted a swim short that covers my backside. The medium fit perfect as swim shorts and the Large was comfortable as loose shorts. The shorts have a wide band at the waist that makes the shorts easy to slip on, however where the band attaches inside to the shorts liner was scratchy. I found a silky underwear worn works well to protect against the stitching. I don't care for the material as swim shorts but nice as shorts.

I am 5’9 about 265 and I wear between a size 18-22 in bottoms depending on the brand. I got a 3x, 3 inch inseam and these are perfect. I usually don’t write reviews but they are really great!! The shorts are fitted but not tight. The material is stretchy but just a bit and it stayed in place for all 4 hours of my swim instructing job!
