Cost effective tree pot-up for years 1->2
Used to plant up first year trees, 24 per storage tote which also had holes 2" up from the bottom, and placed in the compost bin overwinter. Worked perfectly, trees were easy to remove because the containers are disposable and can simply be torn away. The storage tote kept everything tidy. Nearly every tree brought up using this method, transplanted out successfully. For something like that, these are great and very cost effective.

These are not anything like Stuewe and Sons Tree Pots. They are actually flimsy plastic bags.
The description is very deceptive. You think you're getting something like Stuewe and Sons TP49 treepots, but what you get are much thinner plastic that doesn't hold shape and doesn't stand up by themselves. These are glorified plastic bags.

Not freestanding but they work fine and stack well side by side
Yes, they're thin. But they stand up just fine. Glad I read the comments and stacked these in storage tubs, just drilled a draining hole in the bottom. Pretty sturdy; expect to easily get multiple uses out of them as long as they don't degrade in the summer sun.

Adequate and nit expensive
These are not rigid, but the plastic seems strong, and I believe it would take considerable effort to tear one of these. They came very tightly packed in one column and I found the first dozen or so quite difficult to separate from the stack. But the rest separated easily, and this was only an annoyance, no harm was done. I'm sure there are better quality pots available, but these will serve my purpose quite well for much less money (sale price) than some that I know to be very good quality,

Paper thin and flimsy
These things are super thin as you fill them up they become like a cylinder and don’t hold their shape. I have them doubled up but when you double them up they are not a great deal. I won’t buy them again and don’t expect them to last very long.

Perfect rooting pots
Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

Flimsey but still useful.
Well packaged, fast shipper, very flimsey, but I think they are still good enough for starting tree seeds in, as long as I keep them in a cardboard box to hold them upright and cut box down so they get full sun.Bought because the price was right. Got what I paid for.

Right for the price
I went to local big box and small family run stores looking for something similar and couldn’t find anything.I started an experiment with some tree seedlings too early in the off-season and needed something to transfer them to until spring. These are thick enough to reuse, soft enough they will not crack, and can stand up on their own if on a flat surface.I’ve attached a picture of what they look like when they arrive.
