Outstanding Macro Lens at a high price
I am a heavily invested Olympus/OM System user and this is an outstanding macro lens which produces fabulous images at a high price. Auto focus is fast and accurate and so far on my OM1 body I have managed to produce some excellent images.

Forget handheld macros
As you might expect, handheld macros are very difficult once you get to 1:1, let alone 2:1 Good image quality, even at 1:1 but expected narrow DoF Really needs the twin macro flash

You get what you pay for
OM Systems have produced yet another lens that has received very strong reviews, yes expensive, but a pleasure to use and in a short time leads you into achieving very satisfying results. A natural partner to the OM 1, hand held or stacked. The manual focusing clutch together with focus peaking invites easy composition of almost invisible subjects. I look forward to learning how to get the best from a fine lens. If M 4/3 and macro is your interest then this is a must have item!
