The dried pieces are perfect for making soups. Nice when camping. There is no indication on the product of where it was grown and processed.

No advice on how to rehydrate them, either, and an uninformative response to my inquiry. Soaking in hot water, the simplest method, yielded slightly softened bits that tasted like the beets had been left out too long between harvesting and processing for dehydration.

Not what I expected thought that it would be sweet and chewy and a good snack

5lbs bag of uneatable beets due to mold prior to dehydration. The smell was noticeable the moment I opened the bag. I cooked some hoping it wasn’t the beets and something else but the beets taste like mold and spoiled beets. Apparently there’s no option for a refund with these beets either.
