Essential for removing old rubber hoses from brass fittings without damaging the brass fitting. Buy them so you have them when the need arises and you won’t be tempted to do something stupid and damage a fitting that you then have to replace at a much higher cost then the rubber hose you intended to replace. Yep, that’s experience talking.
