My girls and I were so excited for this. Shipping fast and the box was decent sized and candy was very pretty. Texture wise it's fun - crunchy outside with a squishy gelatin inside. Flavor was almost non-existent!!! Everything had a "i think. It touched flavor once" taste!! Thought maybe it would be a flavor or 2, but the 5 of us took a bite of nearly every one in the box and they all tasted like that. HUGE waste of money!! Sadly, 1 star we (all 5 of us) do not recommends from us.

These candies are so unique and really delicious. It's a new concept. The edges and exterior are delightfully crunchy, and the inside is soft. The flavor is subtle, but you can tell which it is. I see people complaining about cost, but these products are made by hand by a team of people. Packaged in the most beautiful way I've ever seen candy packaged. Dare I say this packaging is even better than an engagement ring is. This company will continue to have my business, and I hope others will try it despite their opinion on the high price.

I had this a very long time ago and really enjoyed them. But now it’s just… gross. I highly don’t recommend them because there is so much jelly filling it just ruins it. Biting into it, thin hard crunchy exterior then after that just jelly filling that doesn’t taste good at all and the after taste is worse. I spent 30 bucks expecting it to be really good since I had them long ago and enjoyed them but.. yeah I do not like them at all. I have had a good amount and don’t enjoy the taste of them at all so I’m just going to give them away and hopefully someone I know likes them, but the taste overall is very niche, texture sucks and after taste icks me out. Overall 2.6/10, hard to like, harder to enjoy. Appearance is nice Taste is just weird and I’m not a fan of the aftertaste Texture is super weird, thin crunchy exterior and the inside is a jelly filling, throws me off. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed was really hyped for this but my nostalgia was wrong. These ick me out with the texture and taste. Overpriced for a let down and I already ate one so I can’t return them :/ Definitely don’t recommend them, if you want to try some, do a smaller batch to see if you even like them.

These well packaged, BEAUTIFUL desserts are positively delicious! I'm so glad I ignored other reviews. Having lived in Japan and Guam I'm used to the texture of agar agar. It's not like gelatin, it doesn't really melt in your mouth, so much as it has a delicate jelly texture that breaks apart, I think that's why some people are surprised by the product, so keep that in mind. When you crunch into that crisp sweet outer layer, into the soft firm gel layer... It's a sensory adventure! The flavors are EXQUISITE. Exotic flavors like lychee, guava, passion fruit and hibiscus, all the way to familiar flavors like pear, cinnamon apple, peach, and blue raspberry! I'm definitely buying again, for myself and as gifts... Don't miss out on this experience!

I do not like the consistency of the gummy/jam, which is very soft and chunky like the plant soil jelly chunks. The flavor is very bland. The outer crunchy shell is the best thing about these. My Sister and Brother-in-law love em! 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️

Not great. Beautiful candy don’t get me wrong but the flavors were not good. Not much taste at all

Firstly, they are exactly as expected and as seen on Tiktok. The texture was how I expected it to be and I'm impressed by the variety I was given. I was given three versions of the Lychee flavor, which I was the most excited for, but was unfortunately disappointed. I will say that other reviews with 1-3 stars complaining of texture or taste aren't the most accurate, especially if you don't know what you're getting before you get it. While I probably won't order these again simply because they aren't to my tastes, the brand is worth buying from if you're curious. About 50% of them tasted like the flavor they depicted, but all had a similar taste (probably from the agar agar/gelatin). There is also no ingredients list on the box, so please check the description before buying if you have allergies. They are crunchy/hard on the outside and a sort of harder jello on the inside, with the exception of one which was hard all the way through. The following flavors I received that tasted like the flavors they depicted were: Mixed Berry, Strawberry, Pineapple, Guava, Banana, Honeydew, Coconut Pandan, and Blood Orange (with a special mention of the Passion Fruit Mango, which didn't taste like that flavor but was good). The flavors I received that tasted different or like nothing but sugar and gelatin were: Pickle (I was super excited about this one and was very disappointed), Dragon Fruit, Peach, Pear (tasted like soap), Grapefruit, & Lychee (all 3). While some tasted similar to the flavor, they were all diluted and not very strong, which is disappointing. They'd be better to me if the flavors were stronger and "in your face". Especially the pickle! Don't be afraid of that vinegar flavor! Otherwise, they were all very pretty in appearance.

I was so excited to order these from Silky Gem especially when I watched many videos advertising from them. They made the candies look and taste so extravagant. How they look in the box-perfect with nice colors, how they taste-pretty much like soap 🧼! They have a crunch with the outer layer but when you get to the filling it’s like eating hardened old jello. Very disappointed. Please do not waste your money or time trying these! You would expect a powerful flavor but there’s nothing but a light taste of soap from grandma’s bathroom.
