Hasn't let me down
Hasn't let me down. Like all Casio products, these things will survive the apocalypse. I had the Texas Instruments BA II Plus in my briefcase for a while but it always felt like it was about to break. No such issue with the Casio and it has all the functions I need.

Does exactly what is says on the box. My old one collapsed at a crucial moment, this one is easy to use and a godsend. Still working my way through the instructions. very good buy

Proper Financial Calculator
Does what it say's on the tin. Not cheap but is of sound construction and does the job. Supplied instructions can be a bit baffling at first, it takes a few readings to master its operation.

perfect for alevel chemistry
This is a very easy to use calculator. I have been using it for Chemistry and Biology calculations. The display is very clear and the function buttons are very easy to find.

Habe den Rechner für das WP-Examen verwendet. Hier war ein nicht-programmierbarer Taschenrechner gefordert. Dieser Rechner erfüllt dieses Kriterium (ich habe zumindest nach langer Suche keine gegenteiligen Stimmen gefunden) Positiv: - Alle Funktionen, die man benötigt, sind vorhanden (insbesondere Barwert-, Annuitätenrechner, interner Zinsfuß, etc.) - "Gewohnte" übersichtliche Casio-Tastatur - "Gewohntes" Casio-Layout auf dem Screen - Man kann min. zwei vergangene Rechnungen "zurückspringen" und sieht auch immer, was man eingegeben hat (für mich DER große Pluspunkt zum Konkurrenten von Texas Instruments BA II Plus, denn der TI BA II Plus ist in den 90ern hängen geblieben) Negativ: - Keine Solarzelle (aber Batterie hält laut Hersteller 3 Jahre und da es wohl herkömmliche AAA-Batterien sind ist ein Wechsel auch kein Problem) - Brüche und Exponenten werden nicht so schön dargestellt, wie beim "kleinen" Bruder, der tausendfach in den Schulen verwendet wird (aber der Casio misst sich hier auch eher mit dem TI BA II Plus und dieser kann GAR NICHTS darstellen außer eine Zahl) Im Ergebnis kann ich den Rechner empfehlen für Examina oder Finanzstudium.
