Nice lightweight bat!

This bat works fine for young kids who are just starting out. The size and weight make it easy for a five year old to swing, and it feels balanced enough for simple tee ball practice. My only complaint is how quickly the surface starts to show marks. It dings up faster than I expected, even with normal use in the yard and on the tee. Maybe I am expecting too much, but for a bat made for very young kids it feels like the paint or coating should be a little tougher. At this age the equipment gets tossed around and not always treated carefully, so a thicker finish would make sense. Functionally the bat is totally fine, and it gets the job done for practice, but the outside shows wear sooner than I would prefer. Bottom line: Good starter bat for a young kid, but the finish could be more durable.

Our 5-year old just completed his 4th teeball season. The first 3.5 seasons were with the most highly recommended bat on here, but it was so heavy that he could hardly swing. As the dugout mom during his most recent season, I was putting away everyone else's bats and when I picked this up, I loved how lightweight it was. We immediately ordered it and he hit so much better the last few games and said how much easier it was for him. I'm sure there's a reason for the weight of bats, but for a 5-year old who is learning, this is the absolute best bat!

It’s a great bat. Came fast and is perfect for my 6 year old. Lightweight and solid. Loved the color and he’s been sending balls to the outfield for over a year now.
