I didnt know such a product existed until recently. Its sturdy and easy to set up. Very handy

I have no complaints I use it to hold lights for my seedlings that I start over the winter. I like that it folds up it’s so easy to store away until needed. It’s very light but it has no problem holding up my grow lights. I hang my lights different from the way it is designed so I can’t speak from that aspect. I now have two of them first one I bought last year just bought another one this year.

This is a pretty decent light holder considering the price. It's lightweight, but the all metal construction provides for good stability. It comes fully assembled, and can be easily folded up for storage when it's not needed.There are two shortcomings. The base of the legs has a hard, smooth plastic insert for a foot. It doesn't provide any grip so, if the frame gets nudged, the whole thing can move. I applied some non-slip material at the base of each leg which significantly helped improve stability.The second shortcoming is the rope lock. The rope itself is fine for holding a 48 inch dual bulb fixture, but the lock is a cheap plastic fitting that doesn't grip well. I use it in combo with a clamp to ensure that the fixture doesn't move when the plastic lock fails to grip (which is a common occurrence).Even with the shortcomings it's a decent stand considering the price, and the ability to fold it up for storage without needing any tools or disassembly is a major plus. Four stars.

use this as a UVB holder for my tortoise. I just swapped out the lamp for a reptile specific one and it works perfect.

I am new to growing my own herbs from seeds and was looking for a simple but hopefully effective grow light to begin with. Cost was a factor too as I wasn't sure how "green" my thumb was. I started with just two trays of plants and both seem to fit nicely within the light spread. The seeds were planted and are now sprouting nicely for four different herbs.This light is good for starters but could be supplemented if I decide to expand my herb growing in the future as one light may not ultimately be sufficient. This one, however, allows for adjusting the height of the light over the trays and the lightweight and innocuous construction of the frame make it easy to work with the plants. This product is nice for a person such as me starting out on seed growing.

I grow orchids indoors during the cold winter months; I've used individual clamp-on lamps in the past but they just look so janky. For this winter I bought this rack to suspend 4-pc. 16-inch 45W LED Grow Light Strips over my plants. I mounted the strips on cross bars and suspended them from this frame above my orchids which are now sending out shoots for blooms I expect some time in late January. Perfect!The frame is easy to set up -- watch you don't pinch your fingers (though the seller thoughtfully included cotton work gloves for this purpose). The end of the box had been smashed during shipping but the frame was undamaged. Be prepared to inspect the box upon arrival, though.

It came in one piece - so no assembly - just take it out of the box, unfold it, and viola! A great stand to support a bank of LED lights for my seedlings. I ordered just one to see what I thought of it - what I think is that I'm going to order another one right now!

Easy to assemble, functional, but perhaps a touch cheaply made.I have no real problems with this indoor grow light. In fact, I'd buy a second unit. The quality suits the price, and that's fine by me. My three-star rating is purely a reflection of the quality of the product. It's okay. And there's nothing wrong with that.This grow light features two legs with footings about 18" long, and a crossbar from which the light fixture hangs by a pair of adjustable ropes. The light is easy to adjust up and down as your seedlings grow.Assembly is easy as well. A bolt in each footing is the only tool work you'll need to do. The legs pop into the crossbar, the light fixture is clipped on, and that's it.But there are two problems:First, my unit is completely uneven. It wobbles and sits cockeyed. It wasn't an assembly issue, either, it's a manufacturing issue. That's not a huge problem, it doesn't impede the functionality, but it's certainly an annoyance.Second, the legs just pop into the crossbar with nothing to hold them in place. That makes assembly easy, but it also makes moving the unit a minor hassle. If you grab it by the crossbar, the legs can just fall out. Incredibly annoying. Be mindful so you don't end up breaking your light.Still, $50 was the best grow light price I found on here for a unit this size, and it DOES get the job done, So the three stars means what it's supposed to mean: this product is fine and does what it's supposed to, it just doesn't necessarily deserve a rousing endorsement.Nothing wrong with that. I'd buy one again, understanding exactly what I'm getting,

Easy set up and adjustability as plants grow.

Easy assembly. Small footprint. Simple system to change height instantly. Works well with my wifi plug for timed on/off. Generates a little heat, bit that's not a problem for seedling starts. Reliable. No issues what so ever.

Taller than I expected which was a great assist as my plants grew....and boy!!! Did they ever grow !!! First year using this setup and I would definitely purchase again. Worth every penny !!!

Love it, my wife use it for plants that were started from seed. Very bright, the switch could be better quality but works fine. Purolator left the box outside in the rain without rigging the door bell and we were home. Probably stayed outside for a long time because it was all wet and disgusting. We're not lucky with Purolator, they fail to deliver most of the time on the right Prime day and don't care about the product they deliver. My honest opinion.

Arrived in great condition and very quickly. Good price as open box item. The light is adjustable but does not have a timer. Easy to assemble.
