I don't own this board, but is it really only 6" wide and about 16" long? Or is that the box dimensions?

My ironing board/ drawer is 12 x36 inches , folds in half when the drawer is closed. Hope this helps

?Will it fit to the back of a door

It would fit but I would not do this as the force on the fixings would rip it out of the door and you could do be hurt and damage the door. It needs a very solid surface to mount on.
