Foray Advanced Ink Ballpoint Pens 12 pack Black Ink

I can go days without handwriting a single letter, however, some days are packed with meetings and I have to take many pages worth of notes as fast as I can write them. I found that when my hand fatigues, my notes either become more and more unreadable in order to maintain the same word count frequency and bold font or I have to exchange detail for readability at a later time - neither of which are preferred when you have to look at notes many months later. I wanted a pen that required the least amount of paper friction and pressure to allow me to write the most legible notes, as fast as possible and with the least amount of pressure and friction requirements to keep nice dark consistent notes. This is finally one that I like the most after numerous trials. Before this model, I also tried the Foray 0.7 mm but found the finer point requires more pressure and friction and the resulting font is much to thin for my eyes on those longer fatigued days. The 1.2 mm ball is the perfect size for almost all paper surfaces resulting in the least amount of pressure and friction requirements. The ink flows out evenly and as smooth as butter. The ink is extremely dark resulting in a nice bold font that isn't too big and much easier to read for those of us that either need reading glasses or who may be on the verge of needing them. Anything that makes my job easier is a quality of life improvement and worth investment. I think this has to be one of the cheapest investment for outstanding returns. I highly recommend the Black 1.2 mm Foray Advanced Ink Pen and suggest to anyone in a similar situation to at least buy a pack of 5 and give them a go. Good luck with your search! -DS

They write very smoothly. I normally get the fine .07mm tip, but ordered these by accident. I like the way they write and will continue to use them. They don't smear.

I am a retired teacher. I know pens. These pens are terrific. The ink flows smoothly- no clumps. The pen shaft is smooth and fairly thin but fits well in your hand. I like these so much I have now bought three packages and just thrown out my mish-mash of pens in desks, pen holders and bedside drawers so I always have a smooth writing pen to use. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!

They were wonderful. Good enough people kept walking off with them and on my off days I would fine the pen I was using missing.

I bought these pens because the reviews said they were really good. I beg to differ. These pens are a value but aren't as smooth as I would have liked them to be. The ink does not flow as smooth as other pens and the grip isn't all that comfy either. If you're looking for best value these are the pens for you. If you're looking for smooth look elsewhere.
