It says 200 cms and my above is 190. Not long enough.

Have had this item for just over a year it is completely rusted despite being described as ‘NEVER’ rusts Contacted the company about 3 months ago 3 messages no reply Contacted Amazon who messaged them directly They refused to consider return or refund The reason ? Outwith the return window! Pardon me but it is described as NEVER rust so how can there be a time limit ? Complete waste of money Rubbish customer service Explained the shower curtain was sticking on the rust making it unsafe for my husband with Parkinsons disease couldn’t care less Things are expensive enough for those of us on a pension without having to buy things twice Disgusted!

It is a nice looking rod. It was very easy to install and I really like its golden color.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching gold shower curtain rods. I settled on this one because it is a two piece rod as opposed to some of the other rods sold on this site that come in four or five pieces and I saw it had excellent reviews. The color did not disappoint. It is a lovely, soft brushed gold color. Incredibly easy installation took all of two minutes to get it up on the wall and it seems secure so far.

My walls are 41 inches apart. This was described as being suitable up to 43 inch. That is not true. Fully extended, it is less than 39 inch long and to be able to attach it, with tension, I believe only walls that are 38 inch apart would be possible.

I bought both the gold and light gold. Light gold is brushed and slightly more matte. Gold is more light reflective and more of a rich color. I’ll be keeping the gold because it’s a very close match to the Kohler Gold that my bathroom faucets have. Both are great- I just needed one more than the other. Haven’t tested the durability or ease of use yet, however, I like that it’s not in a ton of pieces like the last one I ordered. It feels more substantial and seems to be the quality of any decent tension rod I’ve had. Photos for gold vs brushed gold comparison purposes!
