Hard to find front-closure, non-racerback comfortable wire bra
UPDATE, 11/16/12: This was SUCH a great bra! Does anyone know where to find it now that it's been discontinued? My original review, below, still stands and I'd love to get another!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:After post-cancer reconstruction surgery, my plastic surgeon told me to always wear front closure bras; that they held your breasts in a more desirable position, and therefore were likely to keep them in that position. I set about writing my list of criteria according to his specifications: wire-free, front closure, good support and my criteria: comfortable, attractive, and reasonably priced. List in hand, I found that bras meeting all of these criteria are impossible to find! I got a very good deal on a Le Mystere Scarlett bra specifically for implants, and that has proved to be one of my favorites - but alas, it's not wire-free. I decided early on that if I was going to stick to "reasonably priced" and another - "doesn't show under sleeveless tops" - I'd have to dispense with "wire-free." That said, bras can be found that meet the remaining criteria. However, most of them are racerback bras - which are fine if you're looking for a racerback bra. Sometimes you don't want the straps to show behind your neck, which they often do when you wear racerback bras under something other than turtlenecks! Believe me when I say I love this bra! It's an excellent find in meeting the majority of my criteria. Price, comfort, non-racerback, attractive, available in many sizes - all "check!" I'd say feel secure ordering this bra if you're looking for any of the items I was looking for .... and I'm always glad to hear about other bras that fit the bill as well.

Not bad, but...
I was looking for a front closure, underwire bra without a racer back which used to be easy to find but now appears to be practically extinct! So, I found this one and although it does have the features I like, the fit isn't that great. It looks like a bra that would give great support (wide adjustable straps and large cups) but it doesn't hold everything in - if you know what I mean! On the up side, it is comfortable and I do wear it often. I just wish I could find a better fitting bra with the specifications I indicated.

Comfortable but tight
I bought my normal size, and it is very comfortable, with no places that scratch or rub the wrong way. But it is a little bit tight. I have been wearing it for several weeks now and it has stretched out some. Front closure bras do not usually have any adjustment for the band size, which is certainly something to keep in mind. Also, the straps are partly removable and are designed to make an X across the back. But this makes the entire bra too tight and uncomfortable. I would love it if the straps were longer. I am very short, so I am not used to having problems with short straps. I have not been able to wear it crossed, but it works fine as a regular bra.

Great Comfortable Bra
I was hesitant to purchase a bra online, but I saw the great reviews and decided it was worth a shot. This bra is so soft & comfortable! I wanted a racer back for the gym. It's great! It's almost too nice for the gym lol. It is lightly lined. I think I would purchase a 32 next time, there's a little bit more room than I anticipated. Overall a great bra at a great price!

A No-Go for Me
Bought this bra after losing weight, but it just didn't prevent some spillage in the front. It feels comfortable except for that, so I may go up a size and see if I get a better fit for the girls. Not a lock and load bra for sure.

Good Front Close Bra
This is a good front close bra! It's a good everyday wear bra. Sizing was a bit difficult -- I had to order 3 different sizes to get the right fit. I usually wear a 36 c-d, but their sizing chart recommended 34D. Once I found the right size, though, it was great. Pros: well fitting front close standard bra (no racer back) with comfortable straps, underwire and complete coverage. Cons (sort of): padded cups which is all the rage these days for complete coverage under t-shirts. However, as a big girl, I could do without the extra padding. NOW - If only I could find a GREAT demi-cup front close bra in a 36D, I'd be all set!

Best Bra ever
I bought one of these in a department store and loved it so much that I went to buy another and they were sold out of every color! Was so happy to find it on Amazon I bought a few. It is so soft and comfortable! I love the front hook and the underwire support. It holds up very well after many washings. Great price on Amazon.

very happy
I have such a hard time with bras; what with my narrow shoulders and uncommon size, it seems like when I do buy something close to right, it's never very comfortable or the straps constantly slide off my shoulders; so it was with desperation that I looked Online. I read consumer reviews and looked for something that everyone seemed to have a good experience with - and this bra topped the list. I was skeptical, but after wearing it all day and hardly being aware of it, I am a believer. I'll be getting several more to keep on hand - can't say enough good about this bra.
