This is a very nice display box. It is incredibly frustrating to put together and the directions with so called illustrations are of little to no help. Use your common sense to put it together. That will guide you much better than the instructions.

I like the clip design, with them the panels feel sturdier and less prone to coming apart than most other acrylic cases in this price range. Easy to assemble with plenty of extra nail/caps. The included instructions could be written better.

The box doesn't even come together, none of the parts fit, if I wanted to make it work I would need an excessive amount of tape and a therapist.

I wanted something of quality because it's to "house" a very special item: my husband. After 56 years, he passed away. Don was a champion speed skater in the late 50s -- oh, he was so beautiful to watch on the ice! -- and took real good care of his original beloved speed skates over all these years. So I decided, after his cremation, to put him back in his skates where he belongs. If you know skating, then you know that the blades on speed skates are extremely long, longer than figure skates and MUCH longer than hockey skates, such that I could find nothing to fit over them. While this display case was VERY expensive, it was the last that I could do for Don, so I wanted it to be really nice. And it is. I have it on a little chest in the hallway upstairs between the bedrooms where I can greet him on a regular basis. No one (in the "public") sees him there, just me; otherwise, I think they may be horrified. I really doin't care, though; it's so much better than planting his body in the ground, to get wet and cold and rotten. And he's still with me; I get to talk to him when I need his support. It's a very good thing.

I knew the assembly for the case was going to be tricky, but I was not expecting it to be literally impossible without further modifications on my end. The holes on the corner pieces that are used to join the panels did not even come close to aligning with the holes on the panels themselves. I had to drill my own holes (Mixed Results), and only then was I able to "properly" assemble the case. Assembly was a chore by itself.The case itself is decent, functionally and visually. Assuming you get the proper pieces, and don't need to modify them just to make assembly possible, I would say it's worth the price. That was not the case in this instance.Cross your fingers and buy at your own risk.

We have this for a centertop clay model and it fits just right. And adds value to the piece. Highly recommend.P.S: Follow installation instructions.

It is perfect for old family bible that is coming apart. A little tedious to assemble. But it’s good price and worked out great
