Complete kit that produces quality finish.
Good product with everything you need to use it. Sprayed perfectly at about 90psi, and covered the entire inside of the bed, as well as the underside and fenders. So don’t worry about having enough for an 8’ bed. If not doing the underside, you can easily do a double coat inside. Using this on a custom installation where I extended a bed by about 20”, and had more than enough. During use, you will get stray berries beyond where you wanted (including yourself) - leave them alone, as when they dry, they will brush right off.

Do the work!
This is a great product that produces a tough durable finish that looks great, BUT, you have to do the work! Clean the bed! Rough up the WHOLE bed surface to get the shine off, wipe down the whole bed with acetone(I did it a couple times). Tape everything you don't want it on. WEAR OLD CLOTHES OR A FULL SUIT AND GLOVES! I will say it does not spray like paint so don't be expecting that, it is a slower process due to the grit in the product, but it gives you time to keep looking around for lightly covered or missed spots. Be READY to clean the nozzle (have a plan for it) it WILL clog at some point. It took me about 6 hours start to finish but it is WELL worth it because $100 and change is so much better than $600 to have someone do it!

Easy to Apply
We needed to repaint our custom truck rack, and the Hercules spray-on bedliner did an awesome job! It worked really well, provided excellent coverage, and was surprisingly easy to apply. The final result looks great—durable, professional, and exactly what we needed. I purchased 2 more kits for my other projects If you're looking for a tough, long-lasting coating for your truck, this product is a great choice. Highly recommend it!

i like it.
I like it... prep is very important. instructions were good. went on well. even did my 5th wheel tailgate. The spray bottle almost came loose under the spray gun. You need to keep and eye on it.

Looks Great
My RAM 2500 with 6.5 foot bed has seen a lot of use the past eight year and the bed was starting show its age. I decided on the Herculiner because its a two part urethane system and part of the JB Weld group. I purchased a four quart kit with an included sprayer. After removing all the items that I did not want covered I followed the directions using 80 grit sandpaper on an orbital sander, then Scotch-Brite pads for the rest. washed out the bed with a mild detergent, Rinsed it then dried it. Wiped it down with acetone then attacked a few shiny areas with the Scotch-Brite pads. I wiped the whole bed again with acetone, taped it off and covered the entire truck with plastic. This whole process took about 5 hours. I painted outside, sunny about 65 degrees light breeze < 5MPH. Used a test panel of cardboard and settled on 80 psi at the compressor and about 14 - 16 inches from the surface. Between the mixing and s[praying it rock about 45 minutes to spray the entire bed. The whole bed was well covered with three bottles, I sprayed the last bottle on the bed and tailgate to increase the thickness of the coating. Overall very pleased with how it turned out, good adhesion, looks good, nice texture. Would buy again. A few notes: It took 48 hours to fully harden made the cooler temperature or the thicker spray on the floor of the bed. The spray gun cleaned up easily with the acetone. You need to wear proper PPE, good respirator, gloves and glasses. Pro tip: the harder is thick like honey, pouring the correct amount into the first three bottle of liner material was easy, waiting for it to drain into the last bottle was for ever. I poured the last bottle of liner material into the harder bottle, much quicker.

Terrible
I almost never write reviews. My time is valuable and limited, so I typically have better things to do. I feel this needs to be put into writing as a public service however. Awful experience, regret trying this product instead of just sticking with raptor liner which I have used many times with great results. Watched some videos on YouTube that showed herculiner outperforming some others in torture tests, noticed it's a jb weld company and thought I would give it a try. Now I feel duped. Sprayed this product 4 days ago after some serious time spent doing prep work, followed instructions to the letter, and it has still not cured. Cannot reasemble vehicle. Super soft and tacky and going to be a nightmare to remove and redo if this crap doesn't miraculously decide to set up soon. The few areas that feel dry are soft and rubbery- not very durable at all. Maybe the product was super old or perhaps it's just junk- don't know, don't care. I am sick to my stomach over this experience. I wish I could give negative stars and send herculiner a bill for my time. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase this herculiner "professional" spray kit. 8/25 Update- felt obligated to come back and share how this turned out for anyone interested in trying this stuff. It took almost a full month to cure to the touch. Pushed the jeep out of the shop and let it sit in the sun and it STILL took almost a month before my hand would not stick to this junk. Let it sit another couple of months after dry and it just always felt rubbery. Decided to re-do it… stuff was actually pretty tough because the wire wheel on the 4&1/2 grinder had a hard time chewing through it in the few test spots that I dug down to bare metal- tough primer if nothing else haha. Anyway- scuffed it up with wire cup and the raptor liner sprayed perfect as it always does, had no compatibility issues with the herculiner underneath, and cured rock hard to the touch in a matter of hours. Thank you raptor for saving my project from this terrible stuff. Hope this saves someone a lot of heartache

Can’t get better for a DIY spray kit.
This was my first time doing a spray on kit compared to rolling herculiner on my last chevy truck. Spray on when compared to roll on is no comparison. Spray on is much better looking. Just look at how pretty the pictures and video are! Although if you’re not worried about looks the roll on obviously works and you can still come out alright with it. Just be sure you do the prep work. Prep work makes dream work. Take your time!! It should take 4-7 hours ish if you have the proper tools and such. It turned out great on my 2023 f150. Tools used: Many plastic tarps to cover the entire truck during this. 6ish? Paint mixer drill bit attachment.(highly recommend) Funnels to route the mixed epoxy and liner back into the original bottle. Gloves Paint suit, Respirator Painters tape Air compressor running about 75psi Doesn’t hurt to have a paint tray and a very small paint brush to touch up small areas. Sure glad I decided to do this! Good luck on your journey.

Works as advertised
I bought the gallon with sprayer to texture the bed of a 5' x 8' (yes 5' wide) utility trailer. This was more than enough to do the floor 3 times and the walls/tailgate twice. The gun worked well, although I was hoping for more of a fan pattern. But the circular pattern worked fine, just kept the gun moving. I had the gun pressure to high and found that some of the grit particles would bounce off the surface and stick to my tyvek suit. The mixing of the material was a bit messy for me but by the last bottle, I had it down to a science. Be ready for the hardener - it is extremely thick and moves at it's own pace. The texture dried to the touch quickly and I was able to recoat in 30 minutes. It was warm and sunny and I had the trailer facing the sun. 2 days later, my riding lawn mower broke down. I used the trailer with metal ramps to take it to the shop. Not a scratch in the bed. This stuff is extremely hard and gritty. Almost like a 60 grit sandpaper finish. Nothing is going to slide around in the trailer which I like. Thank you Herculiner for actually delivering a product that does what it is supposed to.
