Great as a cleaner

Had a minor problem with my order but it was not at fault of the seller. The isopropyl I received smelt very weak, almost like water. I contacted the seller and they confirmed they had a bad batch from the distributor. The very next day a replacement order was sent and it is as described.

Bought for 3D printing, gives a great clean and this lasts a while for recreational printing.

What’s to say, it’s perfectly good Isopropyl Alcohol, OK Farnells is 99.99% , this is 99.9% . But one nine short isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference. I use it as part of the mix for cleaning vinyl records in my ultrasonic tank, saved me a lot of money!

This stuff is super effective for cleaning. It leaves surfaces spotless and dries quickly without any residue. The high purity level is great for disinfecting and works wonders on electronics and glass. The large 5-litre size is a bonus, lasts a long time and saves frequent trips to the store. Didn't like: The container is a bit bulky and hard to handle. The cap could be more secure to prevent leaks. Also, a measuring guide on the bottle would be helpful for precise usage.

There is a strong smell to it even when I add essential oils but it seems to be working

My ethanol fire box is used in an enclosed wood burner and vented to outside. So i add a little of this to my fuel mix to get some nice looking orange flames. Probably around ten percent max! Pure blue ethanol flames are disappointing lol. This helps the flow of air up the chimney as im mainly using it to dry the chimney out after rain as i dont burn wood myself. Im not an expert on quality when buying this for what its intended but it seems pure enough to me. Just a little soot left on the burner lid compared to the bioethanol
