Highly recommend. Best I have ever used in 40 years. Will not be using anything else than this in the future. It makes the job so simple and no mess. I do use it in a full boiled kettle and it never bubbled over. Well worth the money.

I’m in a really hard water area so although we use a filter jug before we put water into the kettle, we still get scale build up. This is such an easy to use descaler. It does the job quickly and leaves the kettle really fresh. I remove the spout filter and put it into the boiling water inside the kettle with the descaler bag so it gets a proper clean at the same time as the rest of the kettle and it came up sparkling. Water tastes so much nicer afterwards.

The product is impressive, especially considering that I live in the area of the country that has the hardest water. I needed to use it twice, but wasn't unduly surprised by that. I have two metal coil descalers in my kettle too - if you use those, give them a good squeeze under a running tap to remove all the descaler and limescale particles. But when I'd finished they sparkled. Unfortunately any descaler is only going to work as high as the level that is treated. The instructions say to half fill the kettle and place it in a bowl, in case it overflows. But apart from the fact that the bag takes up a little space, the liquid only bubbles as if it's simmering, so half-filling the kettle means that not all of the scale was cleaned. The second time, I used much more hot water and the bowl was still unnecessary. And how much is half a kettle anyway? If you use a two-person kettle, the solution is going to be far stronger than if you use a catering-size kettle. Pouring away the liquid did help to reduce the lime scale around the spout, but couldn't remove it because that area couldn't be soaked. Having said all that, I will buy this product again. It's clean and easy to use, providing you use enough water. The bags come in a useful waterproof box but I would like the manufacturer to provide refill packets in paper packaging, to cut down on the amount of plastic used.

This product was recommended to me and is excellent. I popped a sachet into my boiled glass kettle which was stained with limescale build up about a quarter of the way up the glass kettle. within 20 minutes with no scrubbing the limescale was gone. As a bonus it also removed the limescale build up from the mesh collector inside the kettle cavity. Worth every penny and easily the best product on the market.Would highly recommend

All I can say is WOW! I am a real tea belly and use a water filter. Somehow, my kettle still filled with limescale a the tea had an awful film on top, that stuck to sides of cup and stained them. I was forever using sterilising liquid to clean them. I didn't really have high hopes for this at all, but ordered one day and arrived the next. I hadn't drank tea for 48 hours as I was sick of the film left in the cup and in my mouth! Followed the easy to interpret instructions, and after boiling and discarding the water twice (I always go overboard with that) my kettle looks new inside! And my cup looked like it hadn't been used after my first cuppa! Really enjoyed it. I'm disabled and housebound - simple pleasures such as a great cuppa or a refreshimg glass of lemon water make a big difference to the enjoyment of my days. This product has given that back to me :) Thanks!

This is probably my favourite descaler compared to oust and other household brands. However, they’ve unfortunately moved from a plastic tub to a cardboard box to house/contain the sachets. The first time I received the product in this new packaging 2 or 3 sachets were broken and the box was full of the sachet contents. I tried again thinking it was a one-off, but unfortunately the same thing has happened. I hope the manufacturer will address this issue and it’s a shame to keep returning a decent product, just because it’s being let down by the package.

We were debating whether we needed to buy a new kettle to replace existing one due to the limescale build up (we live in hard water area). Did a lot of research into kettles to find one that may help slow limescale build up. Came across this product so thought we'll give it a go while. I was honestly amazed after one use which got rid of almost all but the stubborn build up. Did the process again the second time and the stubborn bits all came off! Now the kettle looks as good as new! For the cost, this is definitely worth it. At least we can use our kettle for a little longer limescale free while we continue our search for a replacement. Suggestion: Instructions say half fill and then boil. I filled my kettle to about 4/5 full so it reaches the higher spots.
