Excellent for training
Do exactly what they are meant for. Nothing crazy on support but they work for me and adds that peace of mind if you twist or tweak your ankle. These keep you from doing that or minimizing so you don’t lip away from training. Size fit and I’m a bigger guy so the stretch or compression would work for almost anyone.

Good stuff
Comfortable and works great for Muay Thai. After awhile the fairtex lettering with begin to peel though.

They have helped me beyond belief.
They do wonders. I snapped my ankle really really badly 2 years ago, and when I started training Muay Thai again, my entire right leg would light on fire and then go completely numb all the way from my toes to my hip after kicking the bag to the point Id almost lose my balance and fall over sometimes it was so bad. I couldn’t train consistently because my ankle was giving me too many problems and had to keep taking breaks. Bought some of these and my problem significantly decreased immediately, and even though my ankle still didn’t have the stability, my leg stopped going numb when I kicked the bag. I went from only being able to kick the bag at 30% to being able to kick it full force with no issues the moment I put these on. Think about them like training wheels for ankle stability, they will help you achieve it if you don’t have it, and they're also good even if you’re not injured they improve longevity and overall stability to prevent injury. Almost like hand wraps. Absolutely must buy if you train, even if you aren’t injured.

If you are on the fence about this, get it.
Ankle protection is no joke, you don't want a sprained ankle at the start of practice and have to be that person limping out with an ice bag around your foot while everyone watches you. Fairtex's ankle support so far is the best feeling, very comfy and does not catch gym mats. I have used Hayabusa's 2.0 ankle supports before, they had a rough texture and the stitching/lining on the outside would be uncomfortable when stepping on them. I only wear them on my left ankle since it has a tendency to roll and give while I am in weird angles (kick training). Recommend only cold washing in a net or washing machine bag so the lettering does not rub off, and do not ever throw them in the dryer because the elastic WILL shrink.

Classic Fairtex quality
4.5 stars is what I’d give them. They’re basic but good quality. I wear them when I’m training for some extra ankle support and they do what I need them to. I don’t have any injuries but I’m getting older so I hope they help prevent them lol
